Chapter 17 Troublesome

Were silently walking at the street. Meron kang mapapakinig ng mga kahol ng aso sa paligid, mayroong nagtitinda ng mga street foods at marami pa. It's 6:25pm I guess?. No one dares to speak for what? Ghad I hate silence It kills me. Bakit kase ang tahimik nito? jusmiyo! buti pa sina kuya parang armalite ang mga bibig =________=.

I stopped when I felt something, which made him stop too. He look at me puzzled --- ey?

" what?" he asked

I shook my head like there's nothing he need to bother, so he continuosly walking without hanging me up there. Kinuha ko sa bulsa ko yung phone ko na kanina pa nagvivibrate, sina kuya nate lang pala. Di ko na lang binasa yung mga text msg. nila dahil if i know tungkol lang yun kung nasaan na ako. Eto na nga pauwi na hahaha.

Were standing at the front of our gate I was about to enter ng maalala kong kailangan ko nga palang mag thank you sa kanya. He was planning to leave ng pigilan ko sya.

Minabuti kong pumasok na lang sa loob sakto nakita ko si manang elly na may bitbit na basura. I tried to call her name, luckily she hear it! lumapit sya sakin looking me surprisingly. What's with that look anyway?

" ma-ma'am hally ano pong ginagawa nyo dito? "

I chuckled ano bang klaseng tanong yun? " ahmm. andito ako kase....dito ako nakatira..? "

She shook her head immediately like i'm picking the wrong words teka.. namali ba ako ng inuwian? lumipat na ba kami ng bahay? kung lumipat man kame how come na nandito pa si manang? did she resigned? saglit lang.. ang gulo! napatigil ako sa pag-iisip ng magsalita sya.

" hindi po ba kayo nainform nina sir inigo sa nangyari kanina? " she said in disbelief base on how she delivers it.

Napalukot na lang ang noo ko kung ganon dito pa din kami nakatira, pero mabalik tayo kay manang she's acting weird right now. And it bugs me. I just look at her..tinging nagtataka. As in cue I saw her eyes become widen. But then she coughs fake trying to composed herself

She breath heavily before she speaks. Which made my world stop and fall into piece....

" You father..... " she paused " is been shot " she whispered

My eyes become widen, after I digest those words, I felt there's a hot liquid falling down to my cheeks and before I knew it... I'm crying for pete sake!

" Jesus Christ " I whispered

I run as fast as i can hanggang sa makita ko si mom na nakaupo sa may bench at sina kuya na nakatayo habang tulala.

When I finally reach out their place I was totally shocked when I saw their eyes, they are all swollen. There's a pang in my chest I felt, when i saw my family on that state, they look devastated like...........me.

Tears flow again to my eyes na parang wala itong katapusan sa pagpatak. Yinakap ko na lang ng mahigpit sina kuya while whispering " Everything will be fine " it was painful to say those words. I look to my mom intently, I hug her very tight while sobbing, she hugs me in return. Alam ko sa aming lahat sya ang pinakaapektado.

Each and every one of us is in pain. The only thing we could do now is to pray to God, let him my dad be safe.

After long waiting bumukas ang pinto ng E.R. nakaramdam kaming lahat ng matinding kaba sa anumang naging resulta ng operasyon. Agad na pinuntahan ni kuya aezel yung doctor.
