Promise (Vernon FF)

Chapter 5

-Raille POV-

My dad lead me to the auditorium and Man!
It's huge!!!

I roam around the auditorium but I was stopped by my dad.

"Rae! Come here!", he exclaimed as he was standing on the stage.

I ran towards the auditorium and it only took me seconds, reaching the stage.

"Woah,chill girl! Since when did you run that fast?" he questioned me as if he didn't know.

I raised an eyebrow. "Dad,I was the school's best athlete for 3 years. I've won 61 medals and trophies for speed running", I stated him.

He just formed an 'O' and smiled sheepishly,"I forgot about that", he shyly said.

of course he didn't know. Back at states, he was too busy with work that he can't even come to my competitions.

I sighed and (fake) smiled at him. "It's okay coz who cares about those", I said assuring him.

He wraps his arm around my shoulder and smiled at me. "I'm sorry about that. Running is your specialty and I am not going to ruin that for you", he bent down to my eye level and kissed my forehead.

This is what I love about my dad. Even though he don't really know me but he still understands me and love me just like how I want him to love me.

Just then, the auditorium was starting to get crowded. People kept coming in and sat on their assigned seats.

My dad and I was already backstage when the first person came in.

Suddenly, a group of boys came barging in while laughing.

Everybody was giving them looks so they bowed a 'sorry'. I also noticed that they were still laughing.

They must be best friends.
I thought.

Then,my dad walked on stage. He stood behind the podium and did his speech. Everybody clapped including me.

Just when I was about to leave,"I also want to introduce my daughter to all of you."

Urgh! Dad why?!

"Rae,come on out", he whispered to me while I peeked through the curtains.

He gestured me to come out and I did,with my head hung low.

I walked on stage and stood next to my dad.
"Introduce yourselves", I slowly raised my head up and looked up front.

"Annyeonghaseyo,my name is Raille Wilfester", I bowed and smiled warmingly.

My eyes suddenly averted to a guy somewhere in the crowd. It was the guy who helped me just now.

Then,everyone clapped for me. After a few minutes,everybody left to go back to their respective works.

My dad told me to go home first but I refused because I wanted to explore more about Pledis.

He allowed me to stay and left me alone to start his work.

I start exploring Pledis and It was not too big or small. It was just right.

Everything was squeaky clean,white and nice. I was pretty cold but who cares? I love cold temperature.

As I was walking through another hallway which was turquoise in color,I heard some songs playing at the end of the hallway.

It sounded like,
"Yeppeun mal
modu moaseo ttada
jugo sipeunde
Neo neo neo neo
ape seomyeon jakku
deureoganeun mal."
