"Miss Kelsey...do you know the answer?" What? "Ma'am?" I was really confused.."You need to pay attention...this is the fifth time this week" "I'm sorry" I said as I was rolling my eyes. "I am so done with this class" I muttered to myself "what was that?" The teacher asked "eh...I said that I'm done with my homework" I lied. I couldn't help it...I was distracted. I was distracted by my crush John. Now John wasn't just your average crush I've been crushing on him since seventh grade (they are sophomores in high school) and I really like him. He is the star quarterback for our school and not to mention I am on the cheer team...co-captain might I add. But I mean it's not like he's ever going to like me back...he likes Erin. Erin is the Captain of the cheer team everyone either wants to be her or be friends with her. "KELSEY" omg what was that..I suddenly came to realization, I am still in class "yes..?" "I said we have a project and you will work in partners" oh.. "Ok" "and I will pick your partners" "Ok" "Alright then lets gets started" all I could think about was John. "Kelsey you are with..John" yes. John looked over at me and I smiled. "Alright class we have a free project this time so here are the topics"
"-food -sports -activities in the area -music and... -romance" when that last word came out of her mouth I froze.." Romance " I repeated only to myself. "ALRIGHT class get with your partner and ill assign a topic" oh...good she's picking the topic there is a one out of five chance that we will get romance so I shouldn't worry...at least I'll try not to worry

I sat down next to John and I decided to try to make a conversation "eh...Hi I'm Kelsey"
He chuckled a little "yeah I think I figured that out" he said jokingly....OMG HE IS SOOO cute

The teacher slowly made her way around the room telling everyone there topic and giving them a quick explanation on what they have to do. It felt like years before she got to our table But it's fine because I got to talk to John the whole time. It turns out we actually have a lot in common..."Kelsey..John your topic is.." Please don't say "Romance" of course... I weekly smile and slowly die inside.
