Chapter 2- Im just a nobody

Chapter 2-

Maisie POV

I was so not looking forward to the party tonight, my friend Jasmin was the one that convinced me.

I recently moved back here from Australia around a week ago. Me and Jas met on our first day of school when I was 5 and since we have been best friends, even when me and my family moved out to Australia we spoke every day. Since I have moved back it's like I have never been away, except for school of course.

Since I have been back the people I remember have changed so much some for the better but some for the worst.

Before we left Jas and her twin Hannah decided it would be a good idea to drink a bit before we left. I am by no means a lightweight but I'm pretty sure whatever I drank affected me, I wasn't drunk but I wasn't my normal self.

Jasmin's house wasn't far from the party so we walked, we walked round a corner as we were laughing at Hannah who was lagging behind trying to walk in her heels.

Jas stopped laughing as she looked at something or someone in the distance I didn't really play attention as I was still looking at Hannah.

She grabbed my arm and linked it with hers and started laurghing again. As we got closer to the house I realised what Jasmin was looking at. There were five boys getting out of the car I acted like I didn't see them even though I really wanted to.

We met the boys at the end of the path they let us go first I wonder why, nothing to do with the fact that we were wearing really tight short dresses. Jas looked behind her I could sense something was up with her, I turned to look at her she had a look on her face that said don't come anywhere near me.

I looked at the victim, he had thick dark brown hair with the nicest brown eyes to match. The tall boy stared down at me and gave me a smirk, I smiled instantly back, I blushed and looked away thinking to myself where did that come from?

30 minutes later...

"He's still looking at you." Hannah says "He has been for at least 30 minutes now." Jasmin says the sound of annoyance in her voice. "Who?" I ask her.

"Connor Jones" Jasmin says not looking up from her phone. "Oh.. why would he be looking at me?" "Because you are the new girl." "So what does he want with me?" I question "Your virginity." Hannah mumbles.

"Hannah!" Jas whisper yells "What it's the truth she needs to know what she's in for." She smiles

"Okay? well I'm going to get another drink." I state slowly walking towards the kitchen.

"Maisie I'm serious I just don't want to see you get hurt that's all." Jas said I pause and turn round "One I'm not a virgin so it's too late for that, and two I'm not exactly going to jump into bed with him." I started walking towards the kitchen.

Why would he want to sleep with me? He is a hot brown headed popular who could take any girl of his choosing. I mean there was literally loads of girls that are currently drooling over him in the corner, he can have one of them. I'm just a nobody, but I must admit he is pretty dreamy what if Jasmin is wrong.

I know its short sorry, but I have finished school so I can upload a lot more hopefully!
