Jessica p.o.v.

Ok. First off. The spirit was right, and when my parents came upstairs, they where ACTUALLY alomst sober! ALMOST is the key word here. My mom didnt smell as funny and my dad wasnt as loud as he usally is, so I was able to use the, 'Im giving the boys a bath' excuse. They bought it, but dad still hit me for supposedly using his bubble bath, and i calmly told him it was mine because i bought it with my own money, and he turned around and punched mom in the gut. She screamed, and so did the boys, but i kept a straight face. I knew what was coming, but I wasn't scared for myself, more so for the boys.
"HOW DARE YOU DAN! WE DISCUSSED THIS BEFORE!" My mom slapped my dad, and that's when it turned into an all-out BRAWL. When my dad lunged at my mom, I grabbed the spirit, placing him on my shoulder, then grabbed the boys putting them under my arms and running out of the small bathroom before my dad pushed my mom into the wall. Hey, I work out sometimes, so lifting my brothers is no problem. Well, I only work out once every three weeks, but I eat healthy, so that, along with climbing, helps me stay fit. I run out of the house and across the street, just as my mom is thrown out the window. Great. The boys scream, and a few neighbors come outside. I throw the boys onto the grass, then toss the spirit next to them, just as my mom and a bunch of broken glass lands on top of me. Garroth comes out of his house with his two brothers, Zane, and I don't know his youngest brother's name. Garroth goes pale whe he sees me underneath my mom and broken glass, my brothers on the grass, his youngest brother runs across the street to help me, while Zane just keeps a straight face, though he looks a little more pale than before. Garroth starts when his brother tries to pull me up and I whimper a little, which I hate I did, I'm supposed to be tough! Anyways, Garroth snaps out of it and gets my mom off me, who's now unconcious, and helps his brother get me up. "Jess! A-are you ok?!" Garroth says. I grit my teeth against the pain "Just my normal day, I'm used to it by now....forget I said that." Their eyes widen, and the brother holds out his hand slowly. "I'm...Vlyad, Garroth's youngest brother. It's ok if you didn't know." I shake his hand, which hurts my shoulder like heck, and I think it showed, because Garroth looked worried. "Are you SURE you're alright Jess? I could make you some you some herbal tea if you wa-" "I'm fine! Just leave me alone!" I sigh, I don't like to snap. "I'm fine Garroth, thank you, though...may I have that herbal tea? And some calming tea for my brothers, Erik and Virgil? You might need some too after what I have to show you..." Vlyad looked confused, and so did Garroth, my brothers had a look of pure fear on their faces, while the spirit didn't look surprised in the slightest, like he'd seen this before, which wouldn't surprise me, not at all. I wonder what else he's seen happen......

Garroth's pov
Ok..........that.......is horrifying. Downright horrifying! How can someone live like that? Now I know why she's so suspicious of everything and everyone, because of her home life. I can't sit by and let this happen. I'll tell her to come in, then call the cops on her parents, and I'll see if they will let her stay with us. Yes. That's what I'll do! I notice Jess is staring at her brothers, who still look terrified, poor boys. "Hey Jess, it's ok they're fine, lets get them to my place, then we'll get them that calming tea, ok?" Jess looked at me, I noticed a red tear come from beneath her mask. I wiped it with my thumb, then raised that side of the mask. What I saw, HORRIFIED me. Her eye was bleeding, her actual EYEBALL. Vlyad looked even MORE pale than he already was, and to my surprise, he almost fainted. Zane cane over, and he DID faint, so I quickly put the mask back, grabbing Jess' shoulders lightly and guiding her to my house quickly. "Vlyad, get Zane and the boys, I need to tend to Jessica. IMEDIATLY. Vlyad got to work, but I couldn't care less. All I cared about at this point was Jess, and her getting better.
