Chapter 18

The next day

Alexis

I was downstairs making pancakes for my family and when I heard Ciara come down the stairs.

"Hey sis."

"Good morning Ciara." I said flipping a pancake.

"Whatcha making?"

"Flapjacks." I said.

"How was last night?"

"Um fine." I said with a smile when I really want to cry so hard. Last night was the worst ever. I couldn't believe I lost someone who meant so much to me all because of my brother. I really suck when it comes to relationships.

Flashback:

"Why? Why can't he just let me and you be happy?"

"He's just Malak he is stupid we can't fight over him. I am with you now."

"Do you have them?"

"Have what?"

"Feelings. Do you have feeling for Malak."

I was quiet for a moment and took a deep breathe.

"Yes-But I'm with you now. He doesn't matter when I'm with you. Adonis Cruise you are the best boyfriend any girl could ever have. And I am lucky enough you. You're so sweet and caring. You're so kind and amazing don't let him take this away from us.

"You were lucky to have me."

"What don't say that Adonis please."

"I'm sorry Alexis but I can't anymore. You are amazing but if you have some sort of feelings for him I can't let that slide. Goodbye Alexis."

Flashback over

I couldn't bare to think about it again. I didn't even notice my tears making the pot sizzle as they swiftly dripped from my eyes to my nose.

"Sis, you aight?"

I quickly turned to her coming back to reality wiping my face.

"Um yeah just call everyone down for breakfast."

"Okay Lexi." She said walking upstairs still looking at my face that started getting puffy.

Malak

I was sleeping peacefully in bed when my annoying ass sister Ciara woke me up.

"MALAK WAKE UP BREAKFAST!!!!"

I groaned as I got out of bed and I some how managed to get myself down the stairs and dragged myself in a chair when I started staring at Alexis while she was wiping her face with a tissue. I could tell she had been crying.

I walked up to her and grabbed her shoulder.

"Are you ok?"

She shrugged her shoulder away from me and continued to make the pancakes.

"Um Ciara where is mom and dad?" She said sniffling.

"Apparently they left again they always leaving us here." She said grabbing the eggs out the fridge as well as the bacon and sausages.

"Ok I'll just make for all of us." Alexis said finally clearing her throat finally done from crying.

I couldn't even imagine what was going through her head. She must hate me right now.

I grabbed her by her hand and walked into the living room.

"Ciara watch the food." I said struggling to grab Alexis.

"K."

We finally reached the room.

"What the hell do you want Malak?" She said rolling her eyes.

"I know you can't be mad at man."

"Are you kidding right now? You ruined my relationship with the best person I could ever have and now u want to talk to me. I can't even look at you." She said sobbing through her sentence.

" I love you Malak and I can't stop it. I need to but I can't and I can't be with anyone cause I can't love them the way I love you and there's nothing I can do about it."

I stood there quiet cause I didn't realize how much I had hurt her. I did more damage then before and I can't continue. I just grabbed her and hugged her tight.

"I'm so sorry Alexis." I finally said mumbling in her ear.

"I was so caught up in loving you and not caring about anyone else. I really truly am sorry. Please just don't hate me."

"I could never hate you. Like I said before I will always love you."

We stood there hugging each other not realizing Ciara has been burning the food in the kitchen.

"Is that-

"Yes it's smoke now let's got to her before she burns the house down." I said to Alexis cutting her off because of the burning sensation going through our noses.

We both walked out the kitchen.

After this cautious situation with Ciara we ate the food and all of us hung out. It was cool I guess. I called Ben over to hang out with us and stuff. Me and Alexis really became close today but I don't we are able to go back to the way we were before.

Omg I finally posted something. I am so sorry for making y'all wait so long. I've been doing so many stuff at school and also I've been writing the third book of "But I love you." By the way for all your other readers that read this book and don't read my other books, read them. I will TRY to update.
