~Natalie~
As we made our way through the crowd and the stares began to disappear one after the other, I felt a soft tug on my sleeve. Reasured, I shuffled to the bar still holding onto Orsi.
"How can I help you ladies?" I heard a husky voice.
"Give me a Sex on the Beach." I winked at the bartender who surprisingly, rolled his eyes and look at Orsi patiently.
"And you?" his hazel brown eyes just lingered over her but she didn't dare look up. This was a stranger and I know how anxious she can get around people she didn't know, especially men. So I decided to answer for her.
"Rum and coke for the shy one." the guy looked at me understanding the situation and left to prepare our drinks.
"Thank you." she mumbled so quiet I could hardly hear her. A soft chuckle left my lips as our drinks appeared in front of us.~Narrator~
Once the two girls finished their drinks and Orsi payed, they left to continue their plans. After taking a left, a right, then walked through a few hidden paths in the woods, they reached a little clearing. They settled in the middle of it and began their chatting once again but eventually came to a stop.
"So..." started Natalie braking their awkward silence. To this, the older one looked up from her hands and smiled. "..What'd you think?" She finished.
"Think of what?"
"The guy at the bar." she explained with an evil grin on her face. The now flustered girl kept her mouth shut and turned back to fiddling with the daisy in her hand.
"He seemed...nice?"she finally answered, keeping her eyes on the little flower. Knowing this wasn't exactly what her friend wanted to hear, she shrugged her shoulders and changed the topic. "How's Daniel?" To her surprise, the brunette flinched and looked at her disgusted.
"That filth won't leave me alone."
"What happened? I thought you two were like inseparable." Natalie jerked her head up and scoffed.
"Yeah right. I won't put up with that cheating b*st*rd." Orsi was in shock.
"Tell me! Everything!" her serious expression now on and her concentration locked on what her friend had to complain about.
Once they talked things out and Orsi finished comforting Natalie, they picked them selves up and headed back. The sun was still shining brightly but the two knew it was already getting late. Natalie checking her phone from time to time, kept making jokes about how they're gonna get back at her ex and Orsi just laughed at each and every one.
It was around 7/7:30 when they got to their school, which was just 10 minutes away from Natalie's house. No younger kids were to be seen by that time, this was of course for the better as teenagers and young adults took over the streets. You'd expect the town to be quieter due to most cars being parked in their own spaces as families got ready for dinner and slowly said their good nights to their young ones, but knowing just how loud drunk 18 year olds could be, it didn't really make a difference.
As Orsi put her phone back into her pocket now glad she didn't have to walk another hour to her house, walked her friend back to her silent home. By the time they got there, the bronde' s mother was there to pick her up and they said their goodbyes to each other with a tight hug and went their seperate way.
I promised a chapter and here it is. Although it may be boring and you're probably thinking "why am I reading this?". Not to worry! I'm already cooking up the next chapter and that will include some action.
(Typical modern movie thing I'm doing here: boring start-awesome 5 minutes at the end) but it won't be just five minutes.
Anyways, thankchu for reading and I'll see y'all on the other side.
