I thought about the events that went on yesterday, and took it upon myself to try to avoid Vonte today and maybe the rest of the year. Even though I was caught in the heat of the moment, I regret it now. Things are going to be so awkward, I can feel it. I headed to school, ready for what was to come. I entered the school doors as I was greeted by Melanie, as usual. I'm not too sure if I should tell her about what happened yesterday, because then she'll tell me... I told you so. And I don't want to hear those words coming out of her mouth. But I'm not sure if I can hold it in any longer, and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet.
"Hey Shantie." She said.
"Hey Mel." I said as she looked at me weird.
"You look like you're dying to tell me something. What's up?" She asked. She read me like an open book. I couldn't hold it in any longer, I got a big ass mouth.
"Vonte kissed me yesterday." I blurted.
"Biiiitch, when was this?." She yelled excitedly.
"Yesterday, after school." I said.
"I told you s-" Melanie started, but was interrupted by Vonte greeting us.

"Bye Mel." I told her.
I had to walk away, avoiding him means not talking to him at all. I quickly went to my first period of the day. As I walked inside my first period class, I was shoved by someone. I stumbled a little, but once I regained my balance, I realized the new boy had shoved me. But before I could scold him or do anything, I just had to take in his fineness. He laid his head on his desk, laughing at the fact that I almost fell because he shoved me.
