"This woman is beating a child, my child!" I told the judge.
"She is not your child! I adopted her and she is under my custody!"
"Well-"
"Both of you, shut up!" The judge yelled at us.
"Isabella-"
"Bella." Bella said.
She paused for a moment. "Bella, is this woman," -she gestured to Maggie- ,"beating you?"
"Y-Yes ma'am."
"No further needs to be said. Margaret Lindemann, you are sentenced to 2 years in jail for child abuse. Madison Gilinsky, you and your husband have full custody of Isabella. Case closed."
