Since Eun-Ju accidentally spoke to Jungkook, he had increased his attempts to get her attention.
She'd never regretted something so much.
"Eun-Ju, you ready for the placement exams?"
She didn't spare a glance at the boy, trying to discourage him.
It failed.
Jungkook was determined to gain her affections back.
He would have to get used to not getting everything he wanted, Eun-Ju thought.
"I hope we get put in the same classes next year...."
Eun-Ju glanced over, seeing him panic.
"You're too smart."
Maybe I'll be free, Eun-Ju thought.
"I'll have to study harder!"
