Eun-Ju wasn't the same as the other girls in this school.
The other girls would have been excited to see a bouquet on their desk; Eun-Ju wasn't.
The other girls would be excited that the favoured Jeon Jungkook was interested in them; Eun-Ju wasn't.
Eun-Ju knew the flowers were from her ex, and she had no interest in them, or him.
She calmly picked up the bouquet between her forefingers, glaring at them in annoyance.
She walked to the front of the classroom, depositing the bouquet into the bin.
She stared at the blue peonies, briefly feeling bad for throwing them out, but she knew the reason they had been there.
Blue peonies supposedly meant healing.
Eun-Ju had always loved flower meanings; her ex must have done some research to pick these.
That or he had actually paid attention to at least some of what she said while they were dating.
She figured the latter couldn't be true.
She walked back to her desk, ignoring the surprise and annoyance in the other students' eyes at her actions.
Jungkook walked in, looked at the bin unsurprised, and met Eun-Ju's eyes before she could look away.
