Okay! Day 2 of Space Camp is done!

We started out the day pretty early... our dorm was woken up at an earlier time than we were supposed to be woken up so thAT WAS FUN

My group, to get to the dining hall, was walking by a bunch of kids playing with rubber balls. A staff member was monitoring the group, and called out, "Safety is the number one priority at Space Camp!"

RIGHT after he said that, a girl kicked a soccer ball towards me, and it hit my notebook. MY NOTEBOOK FLEW ACROSS THE LAWN BECAUSE OF THE FORCE FROM THE BALL

WE WERE LAUGHING SO HARD

We had breakfast, then went to a cool interactive exhibit. Then, we got to do a Mars-themed rock climbing wall!

I STRUGGLED TO GET TO THE TOP OF THE EASIEST CLIMB

But at least I did it XD

Then, we had mission training. We get to do two mission simulations--one is a shuttle mission, and one is a lunar mission. Everyone gets a position on the mission, and I got the position I REALLY wanted!

I AM COMMANDER FLUFFY

HEHEHEHE >:D

So I get to be the Shuttle Commander, where I'm in charge and I have to press a billion buttons and switches while staying on track with the mission elapsed time and communications with mission control and working with the Pilot and--I'll stop.

Hopefully... I won't explode the ship.

I probably will.

But I'll try not to.

XD

Our actually mission is today, so... WISH ME LUCK!

We had lunch, which was pretty good. Then, one of the best parts... GIFT SHOP! I was really pumped to buy stuff, then realized I only had $50 cash. I'm supposed to have a digital account with $125, and was hoping to spend the $50 at vending machines and stuff. Oh well... I just used a little bit of the 50.

I got a portable charger (I REALLY NEED ONE OF THOSE) and A DRUG STICK!!!

Kidding... Don't do drugs oml

It's really a 34-inch tube filled with flavored sugar.

LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY

I started eating it, then my team started screaming, "CHUG CHUG CHUG" at me. I ended up chugging a good foot of sugar... that ended well.

Next, we went outside to all the rockets on display outside the museum. There was a lesson about the purposes and history of each rocket. Not much to say there.

OH, and I found this while looking around:

HAVE I FOUND EVIDENCE OF MY DR PEOPLE?!?! Tbh I probably didn't and I'm making a big deal out of this

BUT STILL

Then there was lunch.

After food, we went to a simulator, which was the 1/6 gravity chair. It simulated walking on the moon. So basically, I got to jump and float around in a chair, and it felt awesome X3

We went to a classroom, and were assigned a project--to build a lunar base, using certain items, power, and workers, and we had an overall budget. I'd explain how that went, but... I kinda zoned out... sorry.

Then, of course... WE RODE SPACE SHOT AGAIN! Yush! I swear, this is the best ride ever!

When we went on, the group I was sitting with decided to #DabtotheStars. Yes...#DabtotheStars. While we flew up, we held a dab. It's kinda hard to dab when you're flying upwards at 40 mph, but I made it work!

At least I didn't almost break my nose.

We went to the Saturn V hall next, where my team worked on designing a mission patch for us. It's a competition to see which team has the best patch. Everyone drew a design, and I thought mine looked pretty good! It won... and we'll design our patch based off of it!

I would say that I feel proud, but a bunch of other people grabbed it and said it was their own design. -_-

We got to play around in the museum for a bit, and there was a kid's playhouse. Of course, my team, being the mature people we are... had the best time of our lives playing in it. XD

I was walking in the interior, and was like, "OOOH! A stool!" So I sat on it.

Turns out it was Jenga blocks.

You can guess how that went.

THEN DINNER OF AMAZINGNESS

Next was probably the most boring thing so far... we sat in a classroom for 2 hours and built a rocket. Yes, the rocket part was fun, but I wasn't able to do anything! My teammates just did everything themselves. So I just waited in a chair for 2 hours ;-;

Finally, the day was over, and we were able to head back to the dorms! I feel like I'm forgetting stuff, but eh... whatever.

I'll add them later if I think of them XD

That's Day 2! :3

Now... For Day 3!

Fluffy out!
