The Red Tornado

Why did Satan want to target our school? It sounds crazy to say that to someone who isn't in my situation. I could just flee here and go home, but my friends were here. I couldn't just abandon them. I'm not the devil! He's the guy sending skull faced,red, spiky monsters to destroy everything my student-self has ever known. I'm now watching the dark and swirling cloud of dust in the distance, with debris and cars being thrown about in it. I know what will happen when it reaches here, what I don't know is what I'll do when it does. I'm sitting here, contemplating my demise with Greg, Randall, and Miguel. Everyone around us is crying, screaming, and hugging onto their best friends. They too
probably know what's going to happen next. I'm holding back tears as I hear a deep voice coming from behind me. "

   Alex". I thought Greg was speaking, but the voice was too low to be him, given the fact we are all still twelve. I turn around, thinking Randall could have been joking around. Given the fact we were probably all about to die, I decided to think otherwise. I face behind me, and see a light so bright I was squinting. It dimmed, but gave bursts of gold beams. That's when it happened. I had always thought God would have gray hair, and be gigantic. I remembered how when I was little, I thought the old man who worked at my pre-school was God. But he looked completely different. He looked younger than a man in his 30s, but had incredibly long hair. He wore a golden chest piece, which resembled armor someone in a role- playing game about elves would have worn. But he was no elf. He was amazingly muscular, and was carrying some sort of staff. It all started to make sense! The sword, the armor, Bedhead......all of it. I remembered what had happened two weeks ago, which I thought would now be the reason God was here.
