Staffies are incredible dogs. Brave, strong, resilient, and they'll sure as hell hang on until the very end. Their family have done some incredible things over the years, with some trying a paw at par core and others becoming celebrated military canines. They have stolen the hearts of so many dog lovers around the world, with a few famous names showing proud ownership such as Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Bacon and Josh Hutcherson to name only a few.
But can you ever really own something with such an adventurous, wild and proud spirit?
How can you possibly tie down an attitude and personality of that magnitude?
Staffies really are incredible. You have to count yourself lucky when one passes through your life. So why would we ever want to take away a being so magical and mythical, yet still one of the most real things you'll find?
Now, dog euthanasia is a debate that gets many people fired up. This is understandable when it comes to any living being's life. Is it always justifiable? Yes, it can be a solution to the pain of a suffering being. Yes, it is a very hard choice to make for anyone.
Some dogs don't get the choice they deserve.
Dogs do what they believe is right. Everyone makes mistakes. Chocolate or ice-cream will come easily. To take away the only thing holding a broken house and three empty hearts together will not.
