We spent the evening discussing ways of getting Blue to open up about her mind tricks, along with having a load of unhealthy snack to quench our thirst and hunger. We didn't stop snacking until we all felt like we were about to throw up, which happened to be about midnight. Luckily, it was a Friday, so the late night didn't matter too much, so we decided to pull an all-nighter and binge watched American Horror Story, because why not, it was a creepy show, but it was good entertainment. It was especially entertaining when Shane had to hide behind a pillow at a particularly gruesome part; he's such a wimp.

"Boys! Come down for breakfast! I've made bacon, eggs and toast for you!" Julie called from downstairs, which grabbed all our attention. It had been a while since I had had a cooked breakfast and I was eager to wolf down a whole load of bacon.

"Coming, Mum!" Shane screeched, making me cover my ears so they wouldn't be permanently deafened; which, thinking about it, wouldn't be that bad to be honest, because I could still communicate through my mind-reading thing. Well, look at that plot twist.

We all pulled some clean clothes on; I had to borrow some clothes from the twins, seeing as though I had rushed out the house like I had; lucky for me they were the same size as I was. I pulled my grey hoodie on and joined the twins as they made their way downstairs to the kitchen.

"How was your evening, boys? I heard screaming at three in the morning." Julie frowned, looking tired, which made me feel a bit guilty.

"Uh, that was Shane, he can't handle a little horror show. Other than that, it was a good evening." Sean said with a wide smile, whilst I yawned.

"Late night then, Jensen?" Julie chuckled and I nodded, sitting down at the dinner table with a plate of mouth-watering food in front of me. I picked up the knife and fork, and dug in to the cooked breakfast. I sliced off some bacon and toast, shoving them into my mouth and chewing in an animated way to show my appreciation for the food.

"This is delicious, Julie, thank you." I mumbled through my food.

"No problem, Jensen. What good manners you have! You two should learn from him." Julie said to the twins, before hitting them around the head with a tea towel. I smiled, thinking about the Harry Potter movie where Snape hit Ron and Harry over the head with a book.

'Oh, we should binge what those movies next time, not American Horror Story.' Shane thought to Sean and I, and I nodded absent-mindedly, which made Sean chuckle.

'Something on your mind, Jensen?' Sean poked inside my head and I ignored him, stuffing more food in my face. No one was getting between my food and me.

My thoughts wondered, as I gorged myself on the food, to Blue and the intrigue surrounding her. I couldn't comprehend getting this ability, only to have someone block in within days of getting it. When I had tried to see Shane or Sean's thoughts when they were blocking, all I would get was an image of a brick wall, which was understandable, seeing as though that's how they were keeping me out, but with her, all I saw got was an empty blank space. It was like she didn't have anything in her head.

The sound of snickering filled my ears. I looked up to see the twins smirking in my direction, which reminded me that I hadn't been trying in the slightest to block them out and they had heard everything I was thinking – in other words, my new found obsession with Blue.

'Obsession is a suitable word.' Sean's thought, whilst bursting into fits of laughter with his brother.

"What are you boys laughing at? I swear I haven't heard you say a word in the last ten minutes." Julie frowned, probably questioning the twins' sanity.

"Just thinking about how Jensen is obsessed with this girl at school." Sean said.

"No way! I was thinking the same thing! We must have twin telepathy." Shane said, which made me chuckle and Julie give them an odd look.

"I always knew you guys could read each others' minds!" Julie joked, which only sent me into hysterics. "What's so funny about that, Jensen?"

"Your comment reminded me of a meme that I found on Tumblr, recently." I said, quickly with a smirk.

"Will you show me? It must be something worth seeing, if it's that funny." Julie inquired, looking at me sceptically.

"Sure, I'll pull it up now." I said, pulling my phone out of my pocket with a smirk. I proceeded to show her the video of 'Actual Cannibal Shia LaBeouf' where I ended up in stitches and Julie just sat there with a not amused and frankly disturbed look on her face.

"I'm sorry you had to see that, Mother, Jensen over here is mentally retarded." Shane said, making me want to slap him around the head. So I did. "Hey!"

"You boys should get out of here, I don't want you hanging around whilst I'm cleaning." Julie shooed us away and we each grabbed our stuff, for me that was yesterday's clothes, my phone and bike. The twins also got their bikes and we cycled towards the closest park. When we got there, I let down the walls that were protecting my sanity and just listened, accepting the fact that I now had this added ability in my life. And it was always funny to hear someone contemplating life.
