A shower of blood and war lurks in the shadows of the beings in a prophecy. Living in a magical world isn't easy;however, being a blind orphan in a magical world is the worst. I live in a huge village named Crest. A fifteen year old tribet is me. I live in a supernatural world where everything around me doesn't make any sense. I keep wondering about my past, but I can't remember a thing. Everything seems so empty and lonely. However, I manage to keep smiling.
The first thing I can remember was when I was in a hospital eight years ago. They said they found me unconscious, and my hands were covered in blood in the woods. The one thing I was aware of was my name, Raven. I freaked out about it at first and then I accepted it. Now, I try to make friends at Deandra . Daendra is a school that trains a person to fight for its village and accomplish its quests. It teaches a student many skills such as casting magic spells, archery, sword fighting, hand combat, and many more. Daendra has three levels. The first level is Monobet, which should take two years. It's where students from six years old are allowed to enter. Then Dibet, Which should take three years. It is where stronger and fitter people are allowed to enter at any age. Finally, tribet which should take two years. It's the last and final level were students that are qualified to finally become quest holders alongside their instructor on their missions and quests.I am in my the last days of Tribet.
I live in a small house that an old farmer gave me before he passed away. The house is made from old oak wood. The ceiling is horrible; I can't sleep in rains nor storms. Moreover, it is literally empty without a bed, table, nor a kitchen, but I usually cook outside under a pine tree outside my house. Moreover, I tend to sleep under a thick blanket and cover myself with a pack of big towels.Although, I am grateful to be able to sleep in a house. Many people dislike the fact that I am a tribet and that I shouldn't enter training school because I am blind ,but I somehow can envision the life force of living and nonliving things around me in my head. Moreover, I am able to perfectly walk fine without any guidance!I don't know how or from where I got this power, but I like it. It makes me special in some way.
For some reason, my class is stunned to find me at the top of the class.Although, one student in our class named Marco was emotionally depressed as usual not because I am at the top, but because he keeps remembering his parents who died in an accident in front of him .. or that is what I at least heard .
Then on class's my graduation day, they divided us into three groups. They folded cards with our names on them and started picking the names out. I was terrified and sweaty when a lady with wavy hair and a fancy suit announced with her soft voice indicating her youth saying " the next group includes: Marco,Raven, and Matt. I raised my eyebrows so high the student next to me tarted to stare. I then started to glare at Marco's hair in the front row and wondered about our group.
That day, a storm fell over Crest in heavy rain and strong winds. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sleep for two reasons. First, the water kept dripping on me through the ceiling and the whole ground was wet. Second, because I couldn't stop thinking about our group. I thought to myself that I never worked with anyone before and made real progress in anything. How am I going to work things on the group?
