Chapter 4: A Cooperative Team Work

   Well next day Matt knocked the door and said "Raven ..are you their..?". I woke up, dressed as usual ,and open the door and said" sorry to make you wait". "Not at all " said Matt and continued " well... Since Charon said we have to train in our free time I thought we might train now..... and by the way Marco already started. He is in under bridge of doom". I replied with" ok... " . Then I sighed and put on my shoes.

    As we walked, I told him that we have to go into different directions as Mr.charon said to keep it a secret from other groups. As expected, I suggested going throw the easier way because I am tired of climbing,and he agreed without showing any signs of interest ......as usual. When I reached their, I sensed Marco practicing archery and Matt practicing hand combating on a puppet, and I thought to myself if Marco is an archer and Matt is our fighter what shall I do? I took a deep breath and then suddenly I sensed a presence of swords nearby. It was beside Marco's arrows that he set on the rocks . I marched forward asking him " who's sword is that?". He replied"Charon gave it to me. He thought I am the type that fights with a sword". Then I thought will why can't I try being the sword fighter? I asked him " can I try it?." He said" sure ,but be carful he casted an electric spell on it and it's job is to electrify the user if he used the sword in a wrong way". I raised my eyebrows and took it just to discover that it wasn't a single sword it was a two sword! The user must use both swords wisely and professionally or he will get electrified by its spell.

    I took a deep breath and tried not to get an electrocuted  . I then tried to sense the nearest big rock to slice it as a challenge, but then Matt said, "yeah right". I turned back and said" um..... excuse me, did I do anything wrong?". He said " you got at the top of the class by sheer luck; don't try to convince me that you will be able to slice this rock while it has an electric spell". My face turned red as anger filled me as I said" well I guess we shall figure out if you were right, huh?". I tried not to screw up like a looser to my group and took a deep breath. Then suddenly I realized something. I felt an unusual presence on the swords. Instead of sensing one spell as Marco mentioned I sensed something I couldn't figure out.

   As I was raising the sword,I sensed Matt's eyebrows flying of confusion. Then I realized that I was able to hold it straight up without struggling due to its weight.   I then decided to forget that and start slashing. After I slashed it, I realized that nothing happened the swords are still there and Matt was still there waiting. Then I heard an insulting laugh" well well it looks like I am right after all am I Marco". Marco looked at me for a moment and continued with his archery training. I was so angry I thought of slashing him with the sword and then I remembered that the sword should've electrified me long ago. I missed the target didn't I ?

   Within seconds the rock, that I already slashed, exploded into a zillion pieces and the rock wasn't their anymore. I am pretty sure it made a loud noise enough for Matt to hear it. I was then filled with happiness, victory, and amazement to be able to break the rock this way. I said victorious" I don't think you are right after all Matt". Matt was filled with confusion of my ability to use the sword but from that moment on I became the group's sword fighter.
