Harry's POV

The phone rang a few times before someone picked up.

"Harry Styles, I might of expected Louis to not keep the secret" The voice growled

"I'm sorry who is this? How did you get Louis number? How did you know I had answered? And why are you calling Louis?"

"You need to learn something now that your in this, don't ask questions you shouldn't know the answers to"

"I believe I have a right to an answer to each of those questions"

"Who do you think you are to question me"

"Harry, Harry Styles! And I don't like your attitude!"

"Cheeky boy, fine fine, my name is X, I traced Mr. Tomlinsons number through the GPS signals his phone put out, I can't tell you how I know you had called, and Im calling Louis for the same reason you called me, I needed information." The gravely voice on the other end replied in a single breath.

"Your the reason Louis been acting so strange arnt you?"

"He's not acting strange, he's only acting as a typical human would in a panic"

"Right, well your the one causing him to panic"

"Most likely"

"Well then.....stop"

There was a slight giggle on the other side of the phone, as if Louis tormenter found humor in my request for Lou to be left alone. What I found stranger than that was the fact that the laugh was not one of a mans as I had expected, but more of a young girls, rather cute for a demonic cyber freak. After gaining their composure, the person re assumed their raspy voice.

"Sorry to tell you that it's not that easy" They replied

"Oh I think it is, its really as simple as getting a hobby, you should try out golf or tennis, quite relaxing"

There it was, that adorable giggle again! I wouldn't call myself a detective but I was pretty sure I was talking to a girl...probably even a fan.

"Listen love, how about you and I arrange to meet up and we can take some pictures together or sign something if you'd like and you leave Lou alone?" I bargained assuming she would accept the offer.

"Naturally I would be inclined to accept, but I have already met you before Styles, in fact I have several pictures of us together"

"Wait...we've met before?"

"Countless times, you wouldn't remember me of course though because you were too busy being worshiped by other girls"

"Well, if we met up again I'm sure I would remember you this time" I replied gaining as flirtatious of a voice as I could manage.

"I'm flattered and as much as I would like to go ahead and meet you, Im afraid it would spoil my plans and that would be an utter shame"

Rejected, ouch, regardless, I was sure I could win her over, that was until Louis walked in.

"Chatting up a girl at this time of the night? You never cease to amaze me" Louis laughed walking over.

"Not a word to anyone else about our talk" the girl on the phone proclaimed in a hushed tone before the line went dead.

"Yah...." I replied to Louis warily "What are you doing out here mate? I though you went to bed" I stuttered quickly changing the subject.

"I just came out to get my phone" Louis replied looking to the spot on the table where he had left it. "I swore I left it out here" He said confused.

"Oh sorry, I picked it up while I was cleaning" I covered and handed it to him. "I was gonna plug it in to the charger in my room"

"Thanks, but I got it" Louis smiled and patted my shoulder. "Night Haz"

"Night Lou" I called after him and slipped down onto the couch. Who was that girl? How much did Louis know? The twitter page from a few nights ago flashed into my mind...the girl with the purple eyes! Louis hadn't been making it up! The girl in his dreams was real...and even worse, he had been living without anyone believing him. Should I tell him that I called the X girl? No...then again...if he looked at his recent calls list he could see it. He was gonna find out on his own one way or another. I just hoped he wouldn't be mad.

New POV... Mr X

I set down the phone and cautiously walked over to my mattress on the floor. Everything was going according to plan, although I had almost lost my act tonight. I glanced over at the horror movie esc knife on my dresser and swiftly picked it up. Every villain has a back story, something traumatic that happened in their life that caused them to become who they were. I suppose you could call me a villain, although really I was a normal girl. The knife, well its not really there for typical villainous purposes. I slowly danced the blade across my wrist letting it go just a little bit deeper with every mark I made. Red began to trickle down my arm as the physical pain replaced the mental hell I was living in for a few sweet minutes. Louis Tomlinson was the reason I had to live like this. Alone, lost, forgotten.
