Chapter 18

Aman

"And you didn't bother to tell me like after nearly a year" She stood up walking towards the door. I saw her anger and sadness in her eyes.

"I'll do this alone" and with that, she walked out of the room, leaving me all by myself.

I shouldn't have told her. It would've been much better that way. I followed her out of the room. She stopped me.

"Aman seriously, I thought you were better than this. So just leave me alone" She pushed me off and ran. Escaping from this place and me.

All I know is that the DCC isn't behind all this. I just know. If they were, I would be apart of all this.

I looked around to see two masked people in front of me. One was a girl, the other was also a girl.

They came closer and closer then suddenly hugged me. I was too confused.

"Aman is that you" One of them said I just nodded. They took off their masks to reveal themselves. It was Anoshinie and my assistant Becky.

"Why the hell are you both part of this?"

"We're not. We are undercover you idiot. As soon as Mr.Saini found out about this being about the Female Boss, he ordered us to investigate. Now where is she?"

"Everyone is so confused. These people aren't working for the Female Boss. They're after her. She thinks that the DCC is behind all this"

"I'm the one who's in charge of all of this" We turned to see that same girl. Same mask. Same voice.

"And who are you" Anoshinie says walking towards her. She pulls out her gun and aims it at Anoshinie's head.

"I'm your worse nightmare darling"

"Aman seriously, I thought you were better than this. So just leave me alone"

I pushed him and ran off. I didn't know where. As long it was away from him. If I had stayed there any longer, I would've shot him. But I would've regretted it.

I stopped at a corner and panted. I had been for God knows how long. I looked at the card. He was lying to me. All this time. All this fucking time.

A footstep was heard. I instantly took my gun and walked towards the sound. As soon as I saw the person, I shot him. He fell flat on the floor. I ran to the large hall and continued running.

Soon, many masked people were chasing after me. Men and women. I stopped and turned around to see many guns pointed at me.

"Aww is this a little party to celebrate me" I said re-loading my gun. "Well it's such a bummer that it's over" I shot the first row in front of me. All of the rest started shooting.

I managed to dodge the bullets and shoot the rest of them. By the end of it, all of them later on the floor. I stepped over the dead bodies and started running until I found a door.

Masked Queen.

I rest my ear on the door. I heard voices. Someone is in there. I listened to what they were saying.

"Can...you let us go...please"

"You all can't leave now. Just need someone to pop by. Then we can get started." I pounded on the door. The voices fell silent as I continued.

Heels clicked towards the door. The door opened to a girl wearing a gold and pink jewelled Venetian mask. The mask was jester like. It stared deep into my soul.

"What....oh Female Boss" She spat my name as she looked at me.

"Oh glad you know me. Now can you let me in?"

"I don't think so sunshine" My eyes immediately widened.

"So your notebook girl, huh?" I've wanted this girl to shreds the day the first note came.

"And I've seen you haven't brought me the bullets I need" She laughed and pulled out her gun.

"He's all mine. Not yours boo. So hit the strip poles" She pushed me off with her gun.

"Excuse me?" My mind switched to anger mode real quick.

"Did you hear me? I said hit the strip poles" She was about to close the door but I placed my foot to stop it.

"Is there anyone else in there?" I tried to peek but she pushed me away.

"No"

As I was about to give up, I heard muffled voices. I pushed the masked girl out of the way to find Nosh, Aman and another girl.

"Oh so this is nobody is it?" Without responding, she tried to shoot me but failed. I pulled out my gun and pointed it at her.

"Ok who are you and who do you work for? DCC probably" I said eyeing Aman the whole time.

She puts her gun down and walks towards me. I back up a little bit.

"Don't worry, I haven't got anything. See?" She put her empty hands in my face. I didn't put my gun down.

"Do you really wanna know me? Aman should remember me perfectly. The only reason he works in the fucking company." Everyone's heads turned to Aman. He looked equally as shocked.

"Hmm I don't even kno-" She cut Aman off.

"That's why I'm going to show you" She stood in front of us and waited a few seconds. She removes her mask. Our eyes widen.

Oh my god.
