It was a sunny morning, as I glanced to the blazing sun in Mississippi's shimmering blue sky. Not one cloud was covering the sky and I directly knew it was going to be a good day. I'm currently 17 years old and after a week or so, i'm turning 18 and that is when my mom would give me permission to travel somewhere alone. I went to the bathroom and looked to myself :" This is gonna be a good day Tori, it's gonna be a good day.." I thought to myself. I brushed my teeth, spit it out, dried my mouth and my hands, and raced to my room so I could wear my favorite clothes. I know this seems like a typical girly novel, but trust me, i'm not even near to girly. I like dresses but black and white are my favorite. I don't like pink like other people, I get disgusted of it.
Why the hell was I talking about something so random and unnecessary?Anyways, I put on my black dress and raced down the stairs so that I could have my breakfast and then I'd go to school. I hugged and kissed Mom, Dad, and my little brother and munched into my pancake tower – I feel childish but it doesn't matter – that i've been craving for weeks now. I – again – kissed my family goodbye and headed to my yellow bus. What I really liked about my bus is that it had really comfy chairs and my best friends Sara and Malcolm come with me in the same bus. I greeted them and sat beside them as we started talking about what we were planning to do when we become 18. It was really surprising that we all had the same birthday in the same year, we only are older or younger in a couple of hours which made it seem like we're triplets?
The traveling thing popped to my head and I raced to speak my mind. " WE SHOULD TRAVEL TOGETHER TO NEW YORK " I screamed. They all were startled and we laughed it out eventually and decided to do that.
Days and days passed until it was our birthday, and we have already booked tickets to New York on the next day. My mother planned of throwing a party at my house for the three of us ( Me, Sara, and Malcolm ). I - of course - said yes because it would be so much fun. We partied our butts off, danced, played, had fun etc.. We then cut our humongous cake and everyone liked it.
Everyone of my friends left at about 11:30 PM but Sara and Malcolm decided to sleepover at my house.
It was the next day, we woke up at 9:15 AM and our flight was at 1:30 PM. So my friends rushed to their houses, got their stuff they needed for the trip and directly came to my house. We were so excited since it was our first flight without our parents, and our first flight together. It was just a perfect day and we knew we will have lots of fun there.
We left our house at 11:30 AM and arrived the airport after an hour. We all hugged and kissed our families goodbye and told then not to worry about us.
The disclaimer at the airport said that our gate was open which means we should enter right away. We said our last goodbyes and rushed to our gate. We sat for half an hour and they let us in the plane.
We landed at New York and oh we were about to turn up.
