'Dear Diary,

The date is the 15th of July 2019. Today is the day that the funeral of the old Lord will start because he died of an unknown cause during his sleep. Now the Lady Greendale will watch over Quive in place of Lord Greendale. She was very shaken up when she woke up next to the dead of body of her husband. Despite this, she seems to be coping fairly well. Although I do think that this may just be a facade and that she is actua-'

Miku stopped writing as there came a knock on the door of her and her sisters shared flat. The pastel haired girl sighed and she closed the book labelled 'Diary, Property Of Darkthrope'. Indigo had already opened the door by the time Miku arrived, and by the looks of it she had already invited whoever the guest was, in.

"Good to see that you're finally out of your room, Chesire!" Said Indigo, pointing to the wide-grin that her sister always wore.

Miku rolled her eyes but her smile stretched further along her face in a mocking way. Then her grin settled and plastered itself to her face so that it was visible but not overly forward. 'Why didn't Miku just answer Indigo with words like a normal person?' I hear you all ask. Well, in 2016 just 3 years ago there was a gargantuous fire inside the walls. Most of the inhabitants died as they either burned to death or inhaled to much smoke. Indigo got out of the apartment but Miku was trapped inside and after the smoke got into her throat and burned her vocal cords, she was never able to speak again. Luckily, she was saved quickly but the damage to her vocal cords could never be fixed. Originally there was about 2,500-3,000 citizens but only 59 remained after the damage had been cleared. The fire had eventually died out but now, when Miku went to sleep or wanted to say something, everything just came flooding back in a torrent of nightmares.

Indigo giggled at her elder sisters response, "The guys are in the living room. Said they wanted to talk about something important. Probably about how they lost the Monopoly board again..."

Miku quickly signed an okay with her hands before taking the door keys off of Indigo and motioning for her to go and see what Michael and Tristan wanted. Indigo nodded before walking toward the sitting room, her ocean blue hair swinging behind her with each step she took. Miku locked the door silently, her hands fumbling with the key as she placed it on the coat rack.

'I wonder what they want...' Miku thinks to herself, shaking her head as an action of her thoughts, 'It can't be that important, I mean...It's them!'

Upon walking into the living room where her boyfriend and Tristan sat, she immediately sensed the cold aura that hung heavily in the air, like thick fog over moorlands. Indigo tilted her head as Michael stood up, tears streaming down his flushed face as he stumbled over to Miku. As soon as she was in reach, he hugged her, his dark blue orbs closing as the dam which was holding all the tears back, broke. Miku looked shocked, confused even as she glanced at Indigo and Tristan with a 'What-The-Hell-Is-Going-On' look. Indigo shrugged as she sat down where Michael had been.

"Oh guys! It's horrible! Lady Greendale has declared that anyone who came from the outside world has to return, along with anyone who lives with them!" Tristan shouted as if he had heard the question that hung in the air. He buried his face in the crook of Indigo's neck, whom of which looked just as shocked as her sister.

"Woah, hold up a minute, she what?!!" Indigo screeched after processing what he had managed to sob out. Michael prys himself off of Miku, wiping his eyes desperatly as he continued from where Tristan stopped.

"W-We h-ave to-o be g-gone by...T-Tomorrow...Or else sh-she is sending h-er guards d-d-down to kill every *hic* outsid-er that re-remains..." Michael squeaked out, internally cursing himself for sounding so weak. His cheeks had streaks (hey that rhymes!) where the tears had run down, cutting the feverish blush that had highlighted his cheeks, down the middle. Tristan just sobs louder upon hearing what they had already been told, nuzzling further into Indigo's neck as comfort.

'I don't understand why she'd do that! I don't see any problem with them being here!' Miku hands shakily signed out, her yellowy-green eyes darting from Indigo to Tristan and finally Michael. She put her hands down and just sat on the floor, crying silently. The fierce tears were horses, racing down her cheeks and dripping onto the floor with a soft *pap* *pap* *pap*.

The four of them had been friends for as long as each of them wished to remember. They had been friends before the fire and still were. The 13th of October 2010 was one of the most special dates on each of their calenders, for the singular reason that it was the day they met, 9 years ago. But, alas, all good things must come to an end and today, for the four friends, was the day that everything would come crashing down around them, leaving each one in living in their own dark horrors.
