Chapter 2.

Isabella's P.O.V.

I'm Isabella, and I am sixteen years old. I have a sister who is called Rose. And she is my best friend, I can tell her everything. My dad got killed two years ago. He was a drugdealer and got shot by a man. My dad owed him money, a lot of money. The man still wants the money so me and Rose work hard to pay him. I work at Walgreens, because I love that shop. I love make-up and my dream is to be a beautyblogger or a make-up artist. Still everyday I'm afraid that the creepy man who owed us money could pop up and shoot us.

It was about 7 PM and I said goodbye to my colleagues. I went home by bus, I stared outside. I saw two guys, wow they were handsome. The bus stopped at my home and I walked towards my house. I opened the door and I heard the shower. "Rosie! Home!" I yelled. "Shower! Welcome home!" She shouted back. I throwed my purse on the table and walked to the kitchen. I got some coke and I sat down on the couch. I put on the TV and watched MTV. Rosie came down and walked over to me and gave me a hug. "How was work?" I asked her. "Pretty good, I got a 200 dollar tip!" Wow, that is great! I looked happy at her. "No way! That's awesome!" "I know right! But hey, I am getting a couple of days off, because I've been working really hard and my legs are going to kill me If I keep dancing around that pole." I laughed. "Okay, I'll say I'm sick, then we can do some sistertime again! How about we go to the park tomorrow, to run. You know, we just got our new Nike Free shoes and I can't wait to use them." We just received our Nike Free ID shoes, which I'm so excited about, Rose got simple black and white, I got browns and neutral tints. They're so nice! "Sounds fun! But hey, I'm exhausted, I'm going to bed, will you come with me or are you going to stay up and put the alarm on when I'm sleeping?" We had an alarm because you never know. The creepy man who owed us money could pop up and shoot us too. I jumped up and said: "I'm coming with you." We shut everything down, locked our doors and closed our windows, I was already in the bedroom and Rose set the alarm. "How was school?" Rose said. "Hmm... You know, it's boring." Rose laughed. I always found school boring because I never payed attention at school, but at make-up etc. I was in grade 11, I did my best for school, but I didn't like it. "And how was your schoolday?" I asked. "Like normally." "I'm going to sleep." I gave her an kiss on her cheek and I turned out the light. In like 5 minutes I fell asleep.

It was around 4 AM when suddenly the alarm was sounding. Rose and I woke up, terrified by the beeping sound of the alarm. "What the fuck is happing?" We looked each other scared in the eyes. We walked slowely to the hallway and put out the alarm. "Call 911!" Whispered Rose to me. I called 911. "We need the police! Someone is trying to break in." I explained where our house was and then we heard someone running upstairs. Rose looked me in the eyes and we ran towards our bedroom and locked the door.
