Chapter 6 : Mino's treat

YG decided to celebrate Mino's day. Since he won SMTM4 by inviting all of his friends and YG's colleagues. It is a cozy pool party. Several idols came, which includes GOT7 and JYP. It is a private party so no one from the media was invited. YG s plan is to have everyone drop their idol status and just relax. Many of the non official idol couple belonging to YGE came. Youngji showed up wearing a black racerback thin strap tank top with matching high waisted denim short shorts and a cute bright pink flipflops to complete her look while mino sported a red basketball jersey that accents his muscular biceps which was also too low cut that you can see his abs peeking through partnering it with a black surfer shorts.

Everyone in this industry is aware that they are couple and somehow have accepted them (not that they have a say or whatever) they were just an unexpected pair to simply put it. Everyone was shocked when their relationship was announced. When a photo of them was snagged DSP and YG had no choice but to confirm their relationship.What's more unexpected was how their relationship was well reciprocated by the public. Innercircles accepted youngji as their first lady the moment the news broke out which is very odd and surprising. It became a hot topic for weeks.

Mino and Youngji sat beside each other while waiting for the program to start. Sitting in front of them is , Tablo, his wife and Haru. "Yo, long time no see. How are you, Song Mino?" mimicking Black nuts rap

"I heard you and Youngji made it public" (referring to their relationship)

Youngji was playing with Haru. she sittting on youngjis lap while she reads her a book she brought. "unknown facts about sea" Youngji reads the header. she flips the pages. a photo of a blight red lobster caught her attention "oh its red, Haru thats my favorite color" Haru ignores her and points at a picture of a dolphin below. "Lobsters stay loyal to their mates until they die" she furrowed her brows and wrinkled her forehead "why unnie" haru asked. "oh , nothing" she continued flipping the pages. Meanwhile, the boys are still absorbed with their conversation

"Yes, hyung. after months of pestering giri boy for her number he finally gave in, now we're here" Mino glanced at youngi

"and because of Hara unnie too. Don't forget her, oppa" youngji injected. Mino smiled knowing youngji was eaves dropping

"Ah well, yeah, because of Hara too"

GOT7 along with JYP arrived in the middle of Tablo and Minos conversation. YG saw Jinyoung and approached him. It is supposed to be Mino's day, it doesn't seem like it, the main star still is the president, although Mino could have cared less, all he wanted is to spend time with youngji. YG, JYP and GOT7 walked towards Mino, wanting to congratulate him before taking a seat. On their way, they saw Mino and Youngji laughing together while playing with Haru. YG saw this is star to joke around "i've always told them to have a kid of their own since they have already had too much practice with Haru". Hearing what YG had to say Jackson furiously stared at Mino and Youngji while Bambam and Mark stands beside him like zoo keepers preventing a tiger from launching an attack. " You really do approve them? Do you?I know youre cool about your artist being in relationships but you seem to be openly supporting this pair and strangely giving them free trips abroad for everyone to see" YG let out a soft smile pointing at jackson "if this kid went to your office at 4 in the morning, drunk with swollen eyes holding a notebook of lyrics he wrote for the girl he loves begging you to let them be together saying he would rather die if he can't be with her because not being is like dying anyways. what are you going to do? " "i cant say no to the drunk Mino waving his notebook to my face asking me to read what he wrote. he wrote a bunch on that tiny notebook of his. He reminded me of TOP and how i was not able to fully support him back then and knowing he suffered so much i don't want to put one of my sons in the same situation again. Plus i'm hoping for happy songs on their next album their last album was just too depressing don't you think? " YG laughed. he paused and changed histone to a serious one "some his songs are included on their next album, i know this kid suffered too much already. so much that he forgot he was speaking to his president that day. if you saw how he's holding on to the tiniest thread of hope and how he was able to write the most beautiful lyrics i saw for a while. and on top of that he was so drunk i could easily mistaken his hangul as japanese. If youngji is what he needs to get his life together then i'll support them all the way. These artists are not just my money maker they are also family if they are happy they can make great music and with that money will pour, so i put them above anything else."

Jackson restlessly listening to YG weighing whether he should just let them be happy or be selfish and snag her away from him.

YG called Mino to their table, he greeted them with a bow and sat at the empty chair beside JB

"JYP hyung, thank you for coming"

"Well, yeah, it is free dinner, there is no reason i shouldn't come"

Haru ran towards mino and sat on his lap while Tablo asked Youngji to come with him and join the guys. JB scoot over to give youngji a space to sit beside Mino.

Bom was passing by and saw JYP and greeted him she then asked Haru to kiss her. Haru obediently gave Bom a light kiss.right after Bom left Haru turns her attention to youngji who was at that time texting "unnie, why people like to kiss me?". The question caught the attention of everyone."Umm,thats because you're pretty, Haru ya" Youngji finds her curiosity funny. "unnie, mino oppa calls you pretty all the time that means he kisses you too?" haru giggled. she continue to ask youngji questions. "Unnie, do you and Mino oppa love each other?" Now, Mino is smiling looking at Haru and answer it "of course, Haru." "appa says he kisses me and omma because he loves us" JYP Tablo and YG are all waiting on how the couple can pull through Harus harsh questioning. These sunbaes are definitely enjoying the interrogation. What Mino did to hopefully make Haru stop is he kissed her, pinched her cheeks and said "ohhhh yeppo" but things didn't go as planned. "its unnies turn" Haru pointed at Youngji who was shocked and blushing. Tablo laughed loudly

"Haru, stop, why are you doing this to them" "It's okay,Hyung" Mino answered. "i'll kiss Youngji, but you have to give me another kiss haruya" Haru nodded and wrinkles her nose. her doll shaped eyes looked straight at youngji. Mino leaned forward and kissed Youngjis forehead. Tablo and YG sighed in dismay. hye jung being playful asked haru to tell mino and youngji to do it properly. Youngji still blushing from the unplanned kiss looked at the smiling mino. "okay okay lets do it" Youngji hits his arms saying "Yah, are you using me to get Haru to kiss you again?" She pretends to be angry while covering her lips with her hand. But honestly she just finds it awkward to be kissing in front of all these sunbaes plus not to mention Got7

"You are all red Youngji are you jealous of Haru?" making everyone laugh too. JYP started to interrogate them, he have a hunch that jackson likes youngji but jackson have always denied it. This would be a great opportunity to find out for sure if he really does. "come on just play along with the kid, you guys are together anyway so what is it to be embarrassed. plus if you keep on dodging this, it makes it weirder" Hye jung getting impatient from all the waiting and bluffing said "okay if this will make things easier, come on tablo-shi kiss me" she said in a mocking tone, she then grabbed tablos head and forcefully gave him a peck on the lips making everyone laugh crazily "okay now your turn" ponting at the two.

Youngji looked at mino who was already looking at her checking on her reaction. Youngji shrugged her shoulders "why not? we do it all the time," Mino was shocked at youngjis sudden boldness. While mino is still trying to grasp the situation. youngji leaned over grabbed his chin and lightly kissed him on the lips. She smiled when their lips touched. after a quick peck she slightly turns his head and kissed him on the cheeks before burying her face on his chest because of sheer embarrassment. Mino is smiling way too much.He held her head and whispered "its okay, its okay" he slightly moves her head trying to make her look at him but she hugs him even tighter still shoving her face on him. he let out little laughs "okay okay... ahhh you. really.. ahh youngji" tapping her back not knowing what to say.

Just when Mino thought YG was the star of the night Youngji did something making him feel like tonight is indeed his night.Maybe he will sleep better tonight. or maybe not. maybe his cheekbones will feel a little sore the morning after. well maybe that's alright. and maybe just maybe he finally found his lobster.
