Chapter 9 : A little too late

Unnie, wouldn't it be awkward seeing Jackson there?" Youngji worriedly asked, Hara.

"You wont be there for him." Hara ruffled her hair and pinched her cheeks

An hour earlier youngji received a text from a familiar number. He hasn't texted her for a while.

"OMG,omg omg omg" she squirmed

"now, what?" she held her phone tightly doubting whether she should read the message or delete it straight up.

"Jackson don't do this to me"

Blonde guy jackson:

Hey, youngji. My mom found out you are coming to Hong Kong

She wants to see you, just one dinner would do,please. do this

for my mom. i promise this would be the last favor i ask of you.

Please youngji-shi.

Youngji-yooong:

I asked Mino about it, he agreed. I'll fly a day earlier than Hara unnie.

Tell your mom ill see her then.

D-day

Youngji arrived in Hong Kong around noon. she was shuttled straight to her hotel without fans knowing. She agreed to meet jackson at 2 in the hotel lobby.

they went straight to jacksons home which is a 15 min drive from where she's staying

Awkward air surrounds them, not a single word was dropped on their way.

They were greeted by a huge garden as they enter wangs residence.

They parked a yard away from their house. as they walk towards the front door, Jackson broke the silence "Thank you." he muttered almost inaudible.

"Anything for your mom." She softly replied.

"oh youre here youngji"

She happily greets and hugged her "omma, thank you for having me" "finally i get to visit you here"

Jackson's mom lead youngji to the dinning area and asked jackson to get his dad

"Jackson call your father, dinners ready"

His mom prepared authentic cantonese dishes just for Youngji.

Jacksons mom and youngji were chatting non-stop. They have gotten closer after their second visit to Korea,Jackson was in Taiwan for a concert so Youngji was kind enough to show them around.

After dinner they went for a quick chat at the balcony on the second floor. It wasn't long till they finished their teas. Jackson told his mom that youngji needs to go since she have an early schedule tomorrow. His mom unwillingly agreed and let her off.

As they are driving back to her hotel.

youngji saw a gondola like lift hanging on a bi-cable ropeway.

"jackson, whats that?" pointing at the cable car

"oh, Ngong Ping. thats the Namsan tower of Hong kong only better" He smirked. This guy really loves Hong Kong she thought

"Cant tell, Never been to Namsan," Youngji confessed with her head down

"what?? you have been in Soul all your life and you never been there?" he laughingly asked her

"some of us want their first trip to Namsan to be very special, jackson-shi. and that someone is annoyed by your sarcastic statement" she glanced at him and rolled her eyes.
