Olivia's POV

Today I hit 39 weeks. And I've never been more excited or more terrified of anything.

Melinda's been up with us for 2 weeks already, and says she fully expects me to go into labor at any moment.

"Liv..." Elliot says loudly.

"Yeah?" I say, coming out of my thoughts.

"Are you okay?" He asks, "You look like you're in pain."

"Yeah I'm fine." I say, rubbing my belly, "He's just so big that when he moves sometimes he pushes on my lungs, makes it hard for me to breath."

"I'm so sorry Liv." Elliot says softly, kissing my forehead.

"It'll all be worth it once we're holding him." I say, taking a deep breath.

"Once we're holding her." He says.

"You still think it's a girl?" I ask laughing.

"I'm so sure." He says.

"You're wrong." I say shaking my head. "It's a boy."

Elliot has his arms wrapped around me and looks down at me when I tense up.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." I say, shifting on the couch.

"Are you sure?" He asks.

"Just contractions..." I say, moving again, trying to get comfortable.

He raises an eyebrow at me.

"They're not regular at all, I tried to time them and I couldn't really." I say.

"Are they real contractions?" He asks.

"Could be." I shrug.

"What do you mean they could be?" He asks.

"I mean they hurt, and Braxton Hicks are just kind of uncomfortable, so they could be, but it could also be nothing." I say.

"You want me to get Melinda?" He asks.

"No, she's on the beach with the kids." I say, snuggling closer to him, while he plays the movie.

I wince as they next contraction comes.

"Liv those were only twelve minutes apart, I'm gunna get Melinda." He says, standing up, and kissing my forehead softly, "Stay here babe."

He comes back two minutes later with Melinda.

She gets me up on the table checks to see if I'm dilated at all.

"You are about 4 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced." She says. "You've got a ways to go, you should be walking, around the house, even on the beach if you want."

I nod my head and sigh softly.

"Let's walk on the beach a little bit..." Elliot says.

"Sure..." I say.

I almost didn't notice that he brought the camera.

"Why did you bring the camera?" I ask, with a slight smile.

"I wanted to get a couple last pictures before our daughters born." He says.

"You are just so convinced it's a girl..." I say laughing at him.

I fail to notice him taking a picture until he holds up the camera and says, "Like this, this is exactly what I wanted..."

"What?" I say, taking the camera.
