Hey everyone! This is my new story, Poppy Seeds and Carrot-Tops, which will be updated every weekend, usually on Saturdays but occasionally on Sundays if I'm really busy. Enjoy! -MeliBell

I was sitting on the bus, ignoring all the looks and yells coming in my direction. Honestly, so what if I have red hair? If I'm a 'ginger'. It's not like they've never seen anyone else like this before. Idiots. I sighed, and turned up the music on my iPod up to full volume. I could still hear them faintly in the background, but it was better than nothing. I turned the page in Romeo and Juliet. It was alright. Just very wordy. The seat felt heavier beneath me, but I ignored it. Probably just someone sitting there to taunt me more closely. A boy with white-blonde hair and a vast amount of freckles was talking to me. I ignored him. Thanks for going out of your way to bother me, I rolled my eyes, and continued reading.
He nudged my shoulder. Once. Twice. Again. I tore out my left earbud, and turned to him with irritation.
"May I help you?" I snapped, and he looked slightly taken aback. Well, he deserved it.
"I'm Justice," He smiled, chocolate eyes gleaming as he stretched his hand out towards me. I didn't shake it.
"And I'm reading. You've probably realized firsthand that I'm just 'Carrot-Top'," I exhaled as the bus finally lurched forward. "It's Poppy," I muttered. Finally leaving. Only seven more hours left to deal with all of these immature teenagers.
"Sorry to hear that. I personally think Poppy suits you better," He smiled, and I sighed. His hand dropped. Looks like he finally got the message. Sitting back in my seat, I stared out the window, watching as the greys and blacks of the city streaked together, fighting to be seen through the dusty window. His eyes pierced through the side of my head, I could feel it, and it forced me to turn and meet his large, puppy-resembling eyes.
"What?" I groaned, and he smiled.
"Nothing. I'm just trying to figure you out." Justice shrugged, and I flipped the page in my book, trying to ignore him.
"Well, could you do that a little later? It's too early in the morning for this kind of stuff," Which was, in fact, a complete lie, because I was both a morning person and a night owl. Justice breathed slowly beside me, and when he said nothing, I looked up at him.
"What? You told me to leave you alone," He grinned when he caught me looking at him, and I couldn't help but smiling back. I did tell him to leave me alone, after all. What was I expecting?
"Sorry," I bit the inside of my cheek, returning to my book. But that didn't last long.
"Seriously, though-What's your deal?" Justice pressed, and I reluctantly shut my book, turning to face him.
"What do you mean?" I asked matter-of-factly, and his grin broadened.
"Don't get me wrong, but why are you so grumpy?" I sat back a bit, shocked.
"Excuse me?" I blinked, and Justice looked down at his lap, shaking his head.
"C'mon. I've known you for like fifteen minutes, and the only things I really know about you is that and the fact that you like to read old Shakespeare."
"Please. You don't know me." I picked up my book, flipping to the right page. "And all Shakespeare would be considered 'old' because it was made centuries ago. There's no such thing as 'new' Shakespeare, so there's no old either. It's just Shakespeare." I muttered under my breath, deciding to ignore him for the next four hours.
