Here's some things where I don't have enough facts to put into the same catagory so they're all going here!
1. Brendon thought an interviewer was talking about Ryan Ross instead of Ryan Gosling which means he could've been thinking about it at the time.
2. In Nearly Witches, a song about a novel but also sings about love and regret (this was written right after the split) it uses the male pronoun when talking about regret of that lover.
