Poem.

Hey,I know its been a long time since we've spoken to each other
I know you've been busy,so was I.
But it wouldn't hurt to talk now wouldn't it?

All these weeks turned into months
Things have changed,maybe for the better,or worse
I've been shutting myself away,trying to get rid of this pain that's been eating me away,That started ever since we stopped talking.

'Til this day I wonder,why did we?
I know you were having problems,I knew you weren't okay,I tried to tell you that I'm here for you yet you pushed me away.I tried to help but then you distanced yourself even more,leaving me alone and saying that I shouldn't be talking to you.

Even to this day,I still don't understand.
But that doesn't matter now,we can start a new friendship,leaving the past behind.
It'll start with this simple question I've asked so many times but you never said the truth to.

"How are you?"
