Justice's P.O.V.
I'm woken up by my mom shaking me. My mom has her hands on my shoulders and is staring at me waiting for me to wake.
"Sorry mom, what time is it?" I ask drowsily.
"It's almost 12." she replies.
It was Saturday morning. She always wakes me up if I sleep late. I rolled my eyes.
"Why don't you just let me sleep?" I ask sitting up."Good parents don't let their children become lazy." she answers cheerfully.
"You're so ugghhhh." I reply annoyed.
She walks out of my room leaving my door wide open. One of my pet peeves.
Better get up and get dressed! I'm supposed to meet my friend Taylor at Starbucks sometime soon so I need to hurry.
I grab this black skirt, a striped shirt, my jean jacket, and my Doc Martens. As I slip into my skirt I look in my mirror and look at myself. My hair! It looks like a bird nest... I'll just put it up into a bun.
Finally, I'm ready. I added a bit of makeup incase we see anyone from school. I exit my room and walk down the sleek white stairs of the apartment.
I hear my mother in the kitchen washing dishes.
"I could use some help!" she yells at me as I rush past.
"Sorry, I'm going out with Taylor." I give her an awkward face.
"Oh alright." She says smiling."What's up with you?" I ask confused at why she's been so happy all morning.
"What? Nothing, honey I'm fine."
she replies.I shake my head and unlock the door and begin walking to the elevator. I push the down button and wait. Getting my iPhone 7 plus out to check the battery percentage I realized I forgot to wake up my brother! He asked me to wake him up in the morning last night. Eh, it's not like he had to be anywhere.
Hopefully Taylor will want to shop a bit because I brought money with me!! The elevator dinged and the doors opened. No one's in it? Wow that's never happened before. I chuckle to myself enjoying all the room in the elevator. Since I lived up in the penthouse, it takes about a minute or two to get down to the lobby.
I began to think about my dad, how I missed him. He hasn't been home for two weeks. Sometimes I don't like him being a famous director. We skype him when he's available. He's always gone.
DING
Finally. The doors open and I walk into the lobby. Very few people are in here. It's like this most of the time. My apartment building is full of high class people, who are usually never home. The doorman waves at me and I smile and walk outside.
