6. Akward

Ryland's POV

She laughed. Her laugh was so beautiful. Like the rest of her. I looked down at my toast. I didn't want anyone to notice I blushed. I know we said that we would forget about yesterday, but I just couldn't. Ross told me they kissed. I knew they wouldn't forget about it either. They kept looking at each other when they thought no one saw. But I saw it all and it broke my heart. I knew I had to do something to make Emma notice me. 

"You ok, Ryland?" Riker said snapping me out of his thoughts. I nodded.

"Just not hungry. I'm gonna see what Rydel's doing" I said walking up the stairs to Rydel's room. When I got in I closed the door. 

"Sup, lil bro?" she asked putting her book on the bedside table. I sighed and sat behind her on the bed.

"I don't know what to do! Emma and Ross kissed and I know they can't forget about it though we said we would and I just..."

"Ryland!" she interrupted me. "If you really like Emma, you should try to get to know her better. That's what Ross did, and I think that kind of made alot!" she practically said Emma liked Ross much more than me.

"She likes Ross, doesn't she?" I  asked.

"Well... you know, maybe..."

"Rydel, c'mon!"

"Well, they did kiss!" she said slowly. I knew it! Well I just had to get to know her. That was a good plan.

Emma's POV

I thought everything would be super akward though we said we would forget about yesterday. For starters it was super akward. Ross couldn't stop looking at me and I kinda looked at him too. Ryland was like really super depressed. Now a week later, Ryland started being nice to me and trying to get to know me. I was pretty sure he got that advice from Rydel...

"So, Emma, what's your favourite color?" he asked bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Anything that's very bright" I replied with a smile. He nodded and looked back on the tv. 

"Hey guys!" Rydel said walking down the stairs. Our eyes didn't leave the tv for a second. She grabbed my arm and dragged me out in the kitchen. 

"So... I've met this guy and he wants to see me at Get shaved. I don't want Riker to find out though, 'cause he'll go all 'Who's the guy? Is he ok? When can I meet him? How old is he?' and so on. Can you cover up for me?" she asked. I nodded.

"I'll just say I'll come with you and then take a walk in the park!" I said. She smiled thankfully and we went to the door.

"Where are you going?" Riker asked from the lounge. 

"We're going to get shaved" Rydel said.

"Can I come?" Ross and Ryland said togehter. They looked angry at each other and then back at us and pouted.

"No! It's a girlthing!" I said with a smirk and we left. 

At Get shaved Rydel met up with the guy. He was kinda cute. His name was Greg. I could understand why Rydel liked him. She waved to me and I signed that she would call me when she wanted to get home, so that we would make it believable. Then I left.

I walked around in the park thinking about my own boys. What was I going to do? I walked around for like an hour. Me and Ross has got a special connection after the kiss. But I still do like Ryland. He's really tried to get to know me lately. He's really cute. 

Beep Beep

Rydel: Hey! Can we do home now?

Me: Ok, be there in five

I walked back to Get shaved and me and Rydel walked home.

"So... How did it go? Are you in love?" I said poking her ribs. She smiled weakly.

"Ehm... No, I don't think so. He's cute and all, but he talked a lot about himself. I barely got to speek" she told me as we reached the door. We opened and went in. All the boys were in the pool. 

"Hi guys!" Rydel yelled. Ross and Ryland were the first in. They both went to the kitchen and got some lemonade for me. I laughed a bit while they argued about who would give me the lemonade. Rydel rolled her eyes and dragged me upstairs. We changed into bikinis and went downstairs again to tan. Ross and Ryland were still arguing. They stopped when they realised we'd gone changed while they argued. I blushed realising they were looking at me. I smiled and went out to the pool. 

"I want some music!" Riker yelled from the pool. All of the others forgot their phones inside so we used my phone. I layed in the sunchair and Rydel started browsing through my music. 

"You've got a lot of r5 songs here!" she said. I blushed. 

"Wait here's a Justin Bieber song!" she yelled turning it on. It was Love Me. The r5 version. I blushed again and they all laughed. 

Rydel's POV

My phone beeped, but I ignored it. It was just Greg. He had been texting me all week. I didn't want to see him, but he didn't take my 'no'. I just gave up after a while. I focused on the movie we were watching. Riker and Rocky wanted to see a horror movie, but Ross, Emma and Ryland were all against it. Ryland usually was the one to suggest a scary movie, but this time he was on Emma's side. Wonder why! ;) We ended up watching Romeo and Juliet. For like the hundred time. Damn you Ross! 

I realised everyone had fallen asleep. Emma was on the floor, curled up in a ball. Riker and Rocky laid in the couch. Ryland and Ross laid in the other. They'll be dissapointed in the morning when they realise Emma didn't sleep next to them. I went up to my room and laid in my bed. Much better than the floor. If my bed was any bigger I would've brought Emma with me. 

Meh, what ever. I need my beauty sleep. In a few minutes I was asleep.
