Prologue

"I love the view of the sunrise here. It makes everything worth it."
She breathed a sigh of inner peace; her toes digging deeper into the slowly warming sand. The moment she repeated daily would never spoil in her heart. Since her early childhood she felt drawn to this place. The ocean of Olivia Beach. It wasn't enough to just come here every summer.
"Every summer...," she scoffed with a smile and holding that thought she began her morning trail along the shore.
The sun peeked itself ever so slowly as she walked just out of the waters reach. She used to run this same path with her younger brother till her parents decided they were 'to big for vacations'.
She came to a halt; closing her eyes and letting the early rays of light caress her tan sun-kissed skin.
"I just feel like im supposed to be here."
As her eyes blinked open again she noticed a dark object laying in the sand meters away. She walked towards it squinting curiously in the glare of light. As the distance closed she realized it was a person and moved with haste.
Kneeling down she could see they were injured and unconscious. Pointlessly she looked around for anyone to help her carry them away from the water that washed them up.
Looking back out to sea the base of the solar beauty lifted away from the waters horizon and she realized....
"Great. I'm going to be late for work."
