Three years later
Anne's P.O.VSince that day I have never let my walls crumble. Even if I had no man has made me want to forget my past.
I had come home to a empty house embrassed, broke and heartbroken.Combining all three, I willed myself to finish school. Going all the way from Texas to New York.
Now I find myself in front of slate inc. Looking for a job in their financing department. Pulling my black pencil skirt down I walked in the intimidating building.
Walking up to the reception desk I am greeted by a women in her late twenties smacking her gum while talking on the phone."Yes girl can you believe that." I tried coughing to gain her attention. Only for her to put her fake nail in my face and to keep talking on the phone.
Getting annoyed I grabbed her phone slamming it in the counsel startling her. " Now listen her I did not come here to watch you smack like a cow and talk on the phone."
She looked about as red as a cherry tomato of fury. Talk about ka-fu- tomato.
"What the hell do you want?" " I need to know which floor Mr.Slate's on."She just looks at me like I am the biggest idiot ever.
"Floor 30...bitch." Oh no she didn't. "Say it to my face, you know what I don't have time for people like you...BITCH!"
Walking towards the elevator with a little smirk of my own.
