Great, Beautiful Sea
The waves they cooly lap the shore
I observe, sweetly, my speech no moreFor only my breaths, long and blissful
Reflect the oceans grace; abysmalTransport me, oh beautiful sea
To the place I always want to beAnd judge me not, for sometimes I grieve
And in those times I'll take no leaveFrom this place my burdens fade away
As the setting sun fades from a sun lit dayAnd the salty air, that I so graciously breath
Makes for me a seashell wreathThat, as I place upon my head
Reflects off of me my hidden dreadThe beautiful women, they crowd around me
And whisper to me oh so sweetly"Sweet child, fear not." They speak
Comfort for me they seem to seekI loosen my grip on reality
And they smile, for my pain is ceasing to be"Sweet release!" They sing in a voice oh so soft
"Release...." I murmur, my spirit aloftThe oceans pull me down, I sink
More calming, I feel, than you may thinkAnd as the waves wash o'er me
I know now all that I have seenOh great sea, I beg and plea
Please don't release your grip on me>>
