Author's Note

This story means a lot to me. I wrote this book around when I was still in junior high school. Probably around 2015? 2016? I can't really remember exactly. But the bottom line is, I have changed so much throughout those years as a person and as a writer and I just couldn't read this story of mine without cringing, hence why I unpublished this book before. But as I go back to my old drafts (this one particularly) and with an idea that's been sitting for a year now, something clicked. That's why when I decided to go back to writing again, I figure this story is the perfect one to work on. However, I have to rewrite this whole entire thing (but still keeping tiny bits of its original pizzazz) in order for it to improve and have a better quality. Also for me not to cringe at this anymore.

I mentioned going back to writing again, that's because I have rested from writing for almost a year now. I just don't know where to pull my words anymore. But a flare of rekindling passion returned to me as I became more determined to improve my writing. However, other than that, a big factor that made me want to write again is because of a message I received during the beginning of this year. A heartfelt message from someone on this platform who has read my works ever since I started here was sent to me. I just can't contain my joy and somehow, I found myself excited to write again. I am dedicating this part to that person. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much I'm grateful for your message. And I hope you, and just like the rest of the people here, will enjoy the ride.
