Chapter 4: Guardian

Irene's POV
As I was reading the letter, tears started to fall. I eat while sobbing cause Baek told me to eat before taking my medicine.

Beakhyun's POV
As I closed the door, I cant leave yet, I know she will cry after reading the letter, Yeah... It's right, I read it.
I wait until she stop crying.

"Hyung, dont lost her, she's kinda stubborn, make sure she arrived at her house safely ok?, I'll go a head"

I'm the kind of master that is not too rough on their slave. I treat them right. I bowed at him at pat him shoulder to cheer up.

My bodyguard have at me.

Irene's POV
I took my medecine and change my clothes, getting ready to be discharged. It's 3am now, I just crab a taxi instead of bus cause it's too dangerous.

I opened the door and I saw a guy bowed at me.

"Annyounghaseyo, I'm gonna be your guard until you arrived your house safely.", what guard?, I don't need guard, ohh....

"Are you Baek's guard?"

"Yea.", I see.

"Tell, your boss that I dont need a guard to guide me, I can handle my self, Thank you.", I'm independent...

"I cant let you do that, It's my job, or else....", or else what...?

"What?"

"I can loose my job", ahh, this makes me feel bad, alright....ughhhh

"Ayyyeeee, ok! Ok!.... Le' go!"

I just took the bus instead of taxi cause I'm safe now that I have a bodyguard.

"Ohhh, Ahjussi what's your name?", I just want to get rid of the awkwardness...

"Suho, At your service", well his name fits his work (suho means guardian).

"Irene and please be comfortable now..."

"Ok Irene, It's nice meeting you!", WOW....

"OKKKKKKKKKKK..."

"OHHHH, I think I just got used to it", uhhh what..??

"Used of what?"

"Ahhhh, My master is just like you Irene'ssi, I'm glad my master found a nice girlfriend...", wait what?...GIRLFRIEND!?????!!!.

"Ohh, I think you mistaken there, his not my boyfriend, just friend...", it's all Baek and I are just friend... this ahjussi.. is kinda annoying... he kept telling story about Baek...that I dont wanna know either... and then the guard started to tell stories about Baek childhood... He said that Baek's father used to beat him, locked him on his room and told Baek how misfortune his father to have him... that's cruel.... Baek is like Nayeon, my vampire best friend, now I kinda feel bad for Baek... His happy in the outside but really suffering inside and it makes my heart sad for him as his friend...

Ohhhh..... wait, Baek told me that his parents is looking for him, so It means that.....

"Irene'ssi, why thinking so deeply?, is there something wrong?", the guard asked as he are walking.

"Ohhh nothing special..", but it is something for me to worry, bacause of me maybe Baek can be beat again by his dad.

While we are walking suho's phone ring.....

But he denied it. The phone keeps on ringing...

"It's ok to answer it Suho'ssi", maybe an emergency or something...

"No it's nothing, we cannot answer calls during our job, only break"

"Well, think of it as a break, guarding me"

"It's really not important Irene'ssi", I got annoyed cause the phone keep ringing, so a snatched the phons from him and answer it....

"Hello who is this?", I asked

"Appa?, please hand the phone to my Appa... Appa....", Suho is already a dad?

"I think its your son...", I said to Suho'ssi

"It's ok Irene'ssi, I'm sure it's not important", not important?, well I think it's important, his son seems scared.

"Ahhh, just talk to him and go home, I can handle myself from here, my house is only 3 blocks from here, so you go see you son..... no excuses just go home.. Ok?, I'm going first", I already left him while talking to his son, I waved my hand to him and signing to leave.....

I was already at my house, I dont have to say I'm home cause know one care anyway. I ask the maids if dad is here but they said that do not disturb him while resting. I went straight to my room which is near at my dad office but then I bumped at dad I bowed saying sorry. He grabed my arm, a band aid was on my wrist..

"What is this?, are you trying to kill yourself now?, uhhhhh?!", his upset.

"You now care about me?, it's nothing for you to worry, I'm ok and I'm not trying to kill myself cause I still have plenty of things to do here", I bowed at him and went to my room.

A lot of things happed this day.. I'm sorry exhausted. I washed and go to bed.

Lee Min Ho's (Irene's Father) POV
I peeked at her room, she seems in a deep sleep, I slowly approach to her, I was gonna touch her hair but she suddenly moved.

I saw her wrist. What happened to her?

She's still my daughter and even though I'm not a perfect dad for her I love her all my life, I cannot let anyone hurt her.

I fixed her blanket then I saw a necklace.... It's the necklace that her mother used to wear...

I saw a box on the table and a letter in it... I read it.... and felt angry..

Irene POV
It's now my second day of school, I took the bus and saw Baek walking. I want to call him but it's embarrassing.
I was just gonna thank him for last night. I can still talk to him at school.

I arrived ar school, I wait for him to come.

When I can already saw him, I waved at him and he waved back.

His now slowly approaching to me and then saw bruises on his face..

"What happened to you?!", I knew this would happen to him..

"Ohh!?, this?, its nothing I fell while riding from my bike.."

"When?", his lying.

"I was going to school then I suddenly fell.", totally lying.

"Where is your bike anyway?", I'm testing him if his good at lying...

"Ohhh, my bike...."

The bell rang..

He then suddenly ran while holding my hand..

"We're gonna be late.. let's go..."

It's ok for me not telling the truth cause I already know what happened to him, I fill sorry for him and I'm worried about his bruises and his feeling I knew his really suffering inside. It makes me want to comfort him. Me and Beak are little bit a like from out family issues... but my dad never hit me.
