Chapter 5: One Rainy day

Our next subject will be P.E but I cant play cause I just got my period I asked my teacher if I can just stay at the clinic room cause I'm not feeling good.

I was walking along the hallway when I saw Baek. His late, our teacher gonna kill him. Hahaha.

"Where have you been?, P.E already started and you missed basketball", just curious buy he seems in a different world, he started acting weird..

"Hey, you ok?", I asked.

"Uhhh, yeah P.E, better be there..", what's with him, is he in drugs...

"Baek, you arayt?", I asked.

"I gotta go Irene, mian", then he ran....

Gosh, what was that, I know something wrong with him.

I followed him and his not going at the basketball court.... where is he going, is he ditching class....

I followed him around until we reach at school rooftop. I never been at the rooftop before cause I'm afraid of heights. I tried to hold on myself from being a scrady cat.. haha I have a lot of fears.... dumb me..

I saw Baek holding at something it seems like a necklace I saw a rock and throw it.. I'm going to surprised him... haha as I was hiding behind the minni garden I saw a pumpkin and use it to scare him, I hope it worked.

He's now slowly approaching... and It's right time to scare him....

"Booooo!!", hahahaha.

"Ummmmmaaaa!!! Ughhhh!, Irene why do that?..", he fell and hurt his hand, I quickly look at his hand...

"Ohhh, sorry sorry, I was just tryi...", he stoped me and said..

"Whatever, I'm ok", he took his hand away from mine, like I was so dirty.

"Baek, I'm really sorry", but then....

"I SAID I'M OK, JUST GO AWAY AND DONT NEVER COME NEAR ME", I felt like my heart ache a bit.

Then he leave without turning back at me, I swear it's a different Baek, I dont know what's wrong with him that makes him mad at me.

I spend the day without him, he cut all the classes. I waited for him to comeback to school and get his bag.

Its already 8pm and I need to go home. Bad Luck, It's raining and I dont have an umbrella with me so I'll just run to the bus station.

I can now see the bus station when I saw Baek sitting at the waiting shed.

His holding the necklace again.

Baek stand start walking towards me while his head down.

The both of us is wet. His now near me.

We bump at each other but he just keep on walking, I guess he didnt saw my face cause he was walking with his head down. I just followed where he was going.

Red light appear but Baek keep on  walking. The ground is slippery and a truck is loosing his balance. The truck is heading to Baek and was about hit him......buttt.....

I pushed Baek but I was the one.......

Baekhyun's POV
Someone pushed me and loose my balance. I heard a loud band. I saw a truck bumped into a tree. I quickly call for help and approach to the truck. I saw the driver with soked with his own blood.

"Thhheeee girrrll...., Hakksenggg (student)", huhhh.. what girl...

I can now see the ambulance but the driver hold my hand...

"The girllll!!!, savvvee her..", Driver tried his best to point at something....

I saw a body on the groud. Flooded with blood... I ran to her.....No!!!!!! This can't be her...

"Irene?", I just prayed that its not her but.....

"Irenneee!!!!, WAKE UP PLEASE... IRENE!!!!", I was shaking her but....

I was just thankful that the ambulance is here now.

I asked for help....

At the Seoul Hospital

"What is your relationship with the patient", The doctor asked me...

"Special, she special to me, please save her...", I begged and I cry...

Few Minutes later

Irene Father arrived. I stand up and kneel infront of him saying I'm sorry and it's my fault.

Irene Father grab my collar and cursed me..

"If something bad happen's to my daughter, I swear to god you will never see her again even a single hair of her", it's true maybe after this I cannot face Irene anymore after what I said to her at the rooftop.

A girl hand a handkerchief to me, she's not a nurse, she came along with Irene's Father.

"It's an accident and I know Irene is strong, she will recover believe me", I suddenly felt comfort thanks to her.

5 Hours Later

Doctor came out after the surgery...

"We did our best to save and we succeed, but her body cant handle all the broken bones especially her back bone that might affect her brain and cause her amnesia.... I'm sorry to tell you but your daughter is in a comma and her life is in danger for short 70% chance for her to die and.....", Irene's Father stoped the doctor from talking...

"Just..... PLEASE... SAVE HER, I WILL HIRE MANY DOCTOR'S JUST PLEASE SAVE HER..."...

"It's not our job now to keep your daughter live, it's now her job, she must fight and wait for a miracle", then doctor left..

"Irene can do it, she's strong ahjussi", the girl said, the one who gave me the handkerchief.

"I dont know Nayeon.... I can't let her leave me too....", Irene's Father said...

I stood Up and gather all my strength...

"I'm sorry Ahjussi, Please forgive me", I said.

"How can I forgive a monster like you, uhhhg?... just never come near us.... GET LOST!!!!"

My mind is saying that Irene's Father is right and I should just get lost...
