We had to write about a picture that says 'And so the adventure begins...'

I glanced out the back window as her parents got in the car. I watched as the scenery disappeared in the horizon, as I left my town that I loved so much, that I knew so well. My mum glanced back at me and put a brave smile on. God, my mum can do anything. We were leaving because of me, because I can't do anything properly. The only thing I can do is read now so I got my book out and started reading. I had read this book 208 times now but I still can't understand this characters choices.I don't get it, why does she answer any question she doesn't know with "and so the adventure begins." After a while I fell asleep.

When I woke up I didn't know where I was but I certainly wasn't moving. I lurched forward to check if my parents were still in the car. They weren't. I scrambelled out of the car as my parents joyfully walked out of the shop.

"What is wrong with you?"

"Oh, sweety we just popped in for some food" my mother said trying to calm me down.

"Don't you dare 'Oh, Sweety me' mother, you didnt even wake me up. I didn't know what you were doing." I yelled stalking down the road. They got in the car and drove after me.

"Sophie get in the car" my father said.

"No, not with you in there too." I yelled.

"Get in or walk forever" My father said sternly. I ignored him and he drove off.

He rang my phone hours later a nd told me that they were stopping at my grandparents house and they will come and get me if I wanted to co-operate with them. I declined their offer. As I walked I decided to use google maps to find my way and off I set. The only thing going through my mind then was a quote from a book so I screamed it at the sky.

"AND SO THE ADVENTURE BEGINS!!". That was the first timed I had smiled in years.
