Carter's POV
As soon as the sub blew the whistle, everything turned to chaos! I looked for Raven, but it was kinda hard to look for someone when your dodging balls that are firing towards your face! I finally spotted Raven next to a geeky girl named Jamie, they were busy dodging.... flaming doge balls! Man this school is way to extreme with their sports! They were doing pretty well till Jamie tripped and fell into Raven witch distracted her for a split second. In that moment the sub took advantage of the opportunity and aimed for Raven. I began to Sprint faster than I ever had in my life. The funny thing was I could hear my conscience yelling at me saying I needed to save my girl. Also to move faster. I was almost there when the sub fired the ball. You wouldn't believe how fast she can throw. It was like her arm was a cannon!
Anyway my mind quickly calculated I wasn't gonna make it in time so I did the reasonable thing and jumped towards Raven with all my might. Then just when I thought I was to late my body made contact with something...a body. That body was Raven.
