Was she perfect?
To the mere human eye, no. Of course not. At a single glance, you would overlook her as if she didn't exist in the first place.
She wasn't tall, nor short. She wasn't ugly, nor pretty. She wasn't skinny, nor overweight. She was simply... Wendy.
Her hair reached mid-back, not too long and not too short. She had deep, beautiful eyes that you could stare into forever. There was a dimple in her left cheek, making her smile feel somewhat unbalanced.
Was she your typical cookie cutter prep school girl? Well, no. She was far from average.
You know those typical tragic story cliches? You know, there's that girl with some sort of weird quirk like drawing or playing an instrument. There's the popular, or even just rude, guy that starts messing with her and then falls in love with her, followed by a few sappy love scenes. Then, bam! Someone dies and the other is tragically scarred for life.
Well, upon meeting her, he thought for sure that was what would happen if he spoke to her, or something related. But then, as he got to know her, it didn't matter. Change usually terrified him, but she went ahead and changed his life...
And he loved every second of it.
