Logan.
Ever since August and I kissed two weeks ago, I haven't been able to think about anything else. Today, August is hanging out with his grandmother and him and Caleb's cousin, Troy. So Caleb and I are going out to the mall this morning to do get some workout gear for this mud run we were both doing.
I arrive at the mall and got out making my way to the Nike store. Caleb had texted me just a few minutes ago that he was already in there.
"Hey best friend." I said sneaking up behind him.
He turned around, "Wassup, Log." He kissed my forehead giving me a side hug.
"Nothin' much. I saw you post Meghan as your women crush Wednesday on Instagram." I smirked.
He chuckled, "That's my almost baby."
"Awww look at little Caleb all in love and shit." I said in a baby voice jokingly.
"Shut up, baldy." He said pushing me by my head. I chuckled.
"So you and my boy Aug been hangin' out a lot lately.. Wassup with that?"
I sighed, "I'm falling for him, Cay."
He turned around with a shocked look on his face, "Word?"
I nodded, "He's so genuine and he's so sweet. And I admit it.. I judged him at first. An ex-con straight out of prison for allegedly shooting and killing a girl at a party. He didn't know how to do anything, Cay and he's still learning. But his determination and drive for better has sparked a fire under me. And not to mention he's not that bad to look at. I don't know, Caleb. You always talked about him to me and I would just kind of tune you out but he's everything you described him to be. Determined, self-driven, motivated, chill, funny, he's everything. And.. We kind of kissed." I told him.
"Y'all kissed? Aw shit. Y'all really feelin' each other, huh?"
I nodded, "Yeah.."
"Well it's about damn time you found a nigga." He said.
I rolled my eyes slapping his chest as hard as he could picking up a orange Nike hoodie.
"Shut up, dumbo." I rolled my eyes.
"Nah but foreal. I like him for you, baby. Big brother approves."
I looked at him and smiled, "Good."

August.
I just got back to Caleb's house and I walked in hoping he was there so I could talk to him about this crush I had building up on Logan.
"Cay?" I called out.
"I'm in the kitchen!" He called back.
I walked into the kitchen after slipping my Nike slides off, "Nigga you always up in hea' eatin'." I chuckled shaking my head seeing he was warming up a microwaveable dinner.
"Yup. And I work it right off. How's granny and Troy doin'?"
"They good." I leaned against the kitchen counter, "I need yo advice though, man."
