Chloe laid her head on Derek's shoulder sighing. Derek looked at

her. "You okay?" Chloe smiled. "Fine Im just glad that we get to be here. It's nice." Derek smiled lightly. "Yeah... It's nice.." ........

Andy walked down the hallway with her books in her hand and her jet black hair constantly falling in her face. She rolled her eyes pushing it out of her eye. "Damn you hair..." She mumbled under her breath.

Simon knocked on Derek's door. "Chloe! Derek! Get up!" Chloe groaned a little. "How'd he know I was in

here?" Derek smirked. "Well you kinda always are" Chloe laughed hitting his chest. "Well if you weren't so kissable we wouldn't have this problem.." Derek smirked softly. "I'm kissable?" Chloe nodded as Derek kissed her softly. She kissed back and then pulled away. "Shit once Simon comes its followed by Aunt Lauren." Derek chuckled. He always chuckled when she cursed. Chloe rolled her eyes playfully. "Shut up. I didn't really curse til I met you" Derek kissed her. "I know. Now go" Chloe walked out with Derek's way too big sweatshirt on. Her aunt Lauren was sitting on her bed when she walked in. Chloe jumped. "Uhh.. H-hi Aunt Lauren.." Her aunt Lauren looked at the sweatshirt. "So.. Your wearing Derek's sweatshirt again?" Chloe sighed. "Yes. I was cold so I grabbed my boyfriend's sweatshirt" She said putting emphasis on the word boyfriend's. Her aunt sighed before starting again. "I know he's your boyfriend but you spend way too much time with him." Chloe looked at her. "Derek isn't just my boyfriend, Aunt Lauren. He's my friend. We do more than make out all the time which I know you think that's all we do. We talk." Her aunt blinked. She kept forgetting that her innocent little Chloe was gone. That everything had changed. Lauren recovered slowly and a little uneasily. "I know your more than just a couple, Chloe. I just think its a little unhealthy for you to spending so much time with Derek" Chloe sighed and grabbed her clothes and went into the bathroom to get ready. What was the point in arguing?

Chapter 1

Chloe

I got dressed in the bathroom for my first day of school. Great.. Like school was so much fun when I didn't know I was a necromancer. At least I already know three people. Tori, Simon and Derek. Of course I'll be alone during my classes like the last school but I don't mind. I get to be somebody new. Nobody knows me at this school. New me. A new Chloe Saunders.... I hope.. I opened the bathroom door to see Derek I jumped a little and he grunted an apology. I pecked his cheek. He gave a small smile. "See you downstairs" he said as he shut the bathroom door. I went downstairs to see Tori eating and Simon texting. Now that they know their related I'd like to say the bickering has ceased. But no. Never. I grabbed an apple and packed my bag when I heard Derek talking to Kit before walking over to the table to join the rest of us. Kit drove us to our new school. We've been homeschooled for the last few moves but Kit and Aunt Lauren thought going to a regular school would help. We got out and walked in and a uneasy feeling sunk in. What if there were other supernaturals here who knew about us and wanted to give us to St. Cloud. I looked over at Derek, who I knew was thinking the same thing. I gave him a look of reassurance that we were safe because I didn't want him to worry and get paranoid. We got our class schedules and I was right kinda. I take no classes with Tori or Derek and I only take three with Simon. None of our lockers are by each other so I walked to my locker alone. I started putting stuff away as the girl next to me opened her locker. She took some books out never looking up until some girls pushed her slightly. "Oops !" They said laughed and I heard something simpler to a growl escape her mouth. She picked up her books and I helped. "Thank you" She said removing some of her black hair out of her eye. I smiled. "Your welcome."
