I kissed her.

She looked so vulnerable. I couldn't stand seeing her sad. Seeing something so beautiful crumble apart right infront of me. I felt her trembling in my arms. My heart broke.
I looked at her.
That was it. That was the moment... The moment i realised. I had fallen in love with my best friend.
I couldn't keep it in any longer.
I kissed her. I wrapped my arms around her as tight as i could and pushed her closer to me, leaving no space between us.
Her soft lips touched mine. She melted into my arms. Our lips in synch. My hand rubbing her cheek. She kissed me back harder as we both gasped for air. I put her hair behind her ear and went back to holding her tighter. Nearly loosing balance we go against a wall. I wanted to kiss her worries away and i wouldn't have cared if that meant all day.
"I... I... Love you"
She smiled at me.
God she's so beautiful.
"Finally"
"Huh?"
"Never mind" she says softly.
Wow. This girl. How could have I been so stupid? After all these years, after all the heartache and breakups. The one person who stood by my side, the one person who helped me go through it all. The one. SHE'S THE ONE.
