Caroline's POV

It killed me seeing Klaus like that. He looked so helpless, so sad. And there's a hint of fear in his eyes. Fear of me not waking up. I also feel that fear. I'm scared of what could happen from now on.

Klaus POV

Bonnie hasn't found anything about Carolines condition. The few witches that Elijah and I have contacted, haven't heard of this. My hope is to find someone who knows about this and to bring Caroline back to me.

"Niklaus I think Sophie knows someone who can help us," Elijah says.

"Who?" I ask.

I was with Caroline, holding her hand, wishing for her to wake up. To not see her beautiful blue eyes is like the sun not shining or the world not spinning. To not hear her voice is like the stars not shining causing the world to darkness .

Suddenly a woman about her late 60s came in the room along with Sophie and Bonnie. She was a curly haired woman, with a small body, but I sensed that she was a powerful witch.

"This is Tamina, and she knows about Caroline's condition," Sophie said.

I looked over at Tamina and she began to speak, "This is a rare condition to be in. Not all witches are powerful enough to perform this kind of spell. Only a few of us can. Right now this young lady, is barely alive."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

"Her spirit self isn't in her body, but she's not dead or alive, but in between. In between life and death. She hasn't fed which makes her weak, the weaker you get, the more you lose yourself. If she loses herself, then she won't be able to come back, she'll be like this forever," Tamina finished.

"No! Thats not going to happen! How do we get her back!" I yelled.

Tamina took a sigh. "Us three witches are powerful enough to cast a spell to take someone, to where this lady is at. That person has to make an act of true love to make her come back."

"Sounds a little bit cliche, don't you think?" I said with a chuckle.

"Believe it or not Klaus, she's right. If you don't believe her its okay. But we're gonna try whatever we need to bring Care back," said Bonnie.

"So who's gonna be the one to go?" Tamina asked.

Stefan then walked into the room. "I think I should go, Caroline and I are best friends. I think she'll be glad to see me with her."

This thing that Stefan has for Caroline is really irritating me. I stepped forward. "No. I should go. Caroline and I have a connection."

"Klaus is right. He should go. You know how much Caroline means to him," Bonnie said to Stefan. He nodded.

"Let's get ready then."

It was just Tamina, Sophie, Bonnie, and I in Caroline's room. We were all around her. I was next to her, holding her hand. Hopefully this works. I do not want to lose Caroline, I can't lose her. I need her here, with me, alive.

"Klaus we're gonna need you to clear your mind and think about that you truly want to see Caroline. Imagine her when she was with you," Tamina said.

I closed my eyes. I heard the witches begin to chant. I cleared my mind about everything else, and focused on the touch of Caroline's hands. I thought about the first time I saw her for who she truly is. In that moment I knew that she was the one for me.

Suddenly, everything went quiet. I didn't hear the witches anymore. I opened my eyes. No one was here, only Caroline's body.

"It worked," I said to myself. I have to find Caroline. She wasn't in this room. I stood up and left the room. I went downstairs and I saw her! She was standing in front of the fireplace. The crease in her brow was a sign that she was thinking about something important.

"Love....." I said.

She turned around and her face lit up with so much happiness. I vampire sped towaeds her and hugged her so tight as if it was the last time I was ever gonna hold her.

"Klaus! My gosh! You're here!" She said in between tears. Then out of nowhere her lips crashed into mine.

It was the most softest touch. We were kissing. I felt like the whole world stopped spinning, time froze and it was just us. The way she kissed me, it was magnificent. Almost perfect. I love her. I love Caroline.
