"Are you ready? Ready freddy? Ready steady?" I asked jokingly to Riley as I walked over to her on the sidewalk. We were preparing to go over to my place to finish our session of questions to each other.

I learned a lot about Riley back in Language Arts. She's amazing, I thought, I've never met anyone like her before and that made me want to get to know her even more.

Riley laughed. "Where's that from? I just can't seem to remember where that line is from." Riley opened the car door and sat down. She adjusted her seat belt while I got into my car and turned it on.

"Um, Teen Beach Movie. Only yhe greatest Disney movie to ever be created." I replied in a "duh" tone.

Riley turned to me and said, "Uh, that's a very debatable topic. And plus, it wasn't even that good."

I began to drive while Riley held on to the handle on the top of the car. Man, she seriously hates cars. "Okay, well, you know my favorite Disney original movie, so. . .What's yours?"

"That's really tough I mean, I love Lemonade Mouth," I quickly nodded and interjected, "That was a good movie."

Riley continued, "Geek Charming was just so cute. I, of course, loved all three High School Musical movies. Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2 were definitely a favorite for me,"

I made a left and Riley held the handle as tight as ever. "It's okay, I'm a very safe driver." I gave her a wink and kept my eyes on the rode.

She took a deep breath and continued, "But if I had to choose my favorite Disney original movie, I'd choose Starstruck."

I gasped. "I totally forgot about that one. That movie was good." And that's when I had the idea to remake the scene when Christopher and Jessica were singing his song in his car. I turned on the radio and a song came on.

"I am a lost boy from Neverland," I started to sing. I felt Riley's eyes hit my neck. I felt uncomfortable but soon after, Riley began to sing as well.

"Usually hanging out with Peter Pan and when we're bored, we'd play in the woods. Always on the run from Captain Hook." I couldn't sing but it was fun to sing with Riley. She made this fun and I instantly felt transported to the scene with Jessica and Christopher.

At the end of the song, we had arrived to my home. Before exiting the car, we both sat there and laughed but then, Riley stopped laughing and the mood changed from happy to serious.

We sat in silence, anxiously waiting for one to say something or do something and finally, Riley blurted out, in almost a whisper, "Am I lost?"

I adjusted myself to face her. I stared at her mask. No, I thought, I can't have a serious conversation with her when her mask was on. I put my hand out and took the mask off. It was Riley and she had a face. She was gorgeous. Her brown eyes were what I noticed first. They were so vibrant in the lighting of the car.

She stared at me, looking like she was about to cry so I quickly responded, "I'm sorry, I just couldn't talk to you with your mask on."

She whipped the tears that were coming down her face. "It's okay."

"To answer your question, maybe you are, I wouldn't know, I'm not you, but there's nothing wrong with being lost. As long as you find yourself in the end, you're fine." I took a strand of hair and gently pushed it behind her ear.

"You don't make be feel lost or broken. I'm whole when I'm around you." She blurted again. At this point, I blushed. I didn't think she thought of me like that.

At this point, I sat there blushing as hard as I could. Riley was amazing, I thought. I started to stare outside my window, lost in thought. I realized that we were outside my home and that we should probably get inside before it began snowing again.

"Riley," I called, looking over at her. She snapped out of her thoughts and turned to me. "Yeah?"

"We should probably go inside now. It's supposed to snow later today,"

"Oh right, right," Riley unbuckled her seat belt and opened the door as carefully as she possibly could. She walked over to the side walk and waited for me to get out.

"Off we go," I said, opening the door and walking into my home.

"Farkle, you're home! Great!" My mother exclaimed as I went to go give her a hug in the Living room. I turned around to see Riley behind me, waving at my mother and my mother greeted her back.

"What going on?" I asked, confused.

My mother went over to her closet and pulled out a bag from Portabella. I instantly knew what it was. A suit.
"Farkle, I bought you a suit,"

I was embarrassed. I had totally forgot about the talk that I had with my mother earlier. She wanted me to ask Riley to the Valentine's Day dance.

"Go try it on," My mother commanded. I gave her a look and she quickly yelled, "Hurry, hurry! I want to see it on you!"

I walked over to my room and changed into the suit. It was a regular black and white suit but the tie was red, which is my favorite color. I adjusted to collar and headed back to the living room to present myself.

As I walked into the living room, Riley smiled at me and I quickly blushed and smiled back. I went over to my mother and she smiled as well.

"So, how do you like it? Does it fit? Do you want a new tie?"

I laughed a little. "No, no, I like it and it fits."

"That's great because I spent hours trying to get the perfect suit for you."

"What's this for?" Riley asked, walking over to me and adjusting my tie. "Sorry, force of habit,"

I smiled. "It's okay. My mother bought me a suit for the dance on Saturday. Except," I turned to my mother. "I'm not going to the dance."

"Why?"

"I don't have a date."

"So?"

"So, you need a date to go to a dance. It's only rule."

"Where does it say that? In the big book of rules for the dance?" Riley laughed.

"No, but,"

"But what? There's no rule saying you have to go to the dance with a date."

"It's makes me feel weird not having a date to a dance where all my friends have dates."

"Oh, I see now."

"Yeah, but let's go hang out. . . right after I change out of this suit. I wouldn't want to ruin it." I began walking over to my room when my mother came over to me and asked, "Did you ask?"

I stopped walking and looked at mom. "Ask what? And to who?"

"Ask Riley to the dance."

"I never agreed to that."

"Well it's too late now, i already bought you a suit. You have to ask her."
