"So... take your pick Amy!"
"Which one is correct?"
"Whichever gem you take will give you different powers. However, if you lose the gem or if its broken; your powers will be gone." Dan explained.
"This one?" I said, pointing to a six-sided one. I felt as though it was calling out to me.
"Take it then." Winter instructed.
"Okay..." I took it in my hands. It felt a little cold, but it suddenly disappeared.
"Its in your sceptre! You mustn't lose it then." Clarissa said.
"Alright..."
"Do you want a tour of the place Amy?"
"S-Sure!" I answered. She dragged me along. While we were touring the castle's 2nd floor, a loud horn sounded. Vanessa gasped, and let go of my arm.
"Trouble." Vanessa whispered and ran back towards where we came from; that is, the quartz stairway.
"Follow me! This way!" Cynthia led us towards a safety bunker.
"How can she run with heels?" Alesa asked.
"Don't know, don't care." Preston replied.
"Preston..." Selena glared. Cynthia's intercom bracelet lit up, flashing purple; every royal has one. There were different codes for different kingdoms, realms, and palaces. Crystal had a light blue light. Obsidian was deep purple. Diamond was a bright blue. The End realm was purple. The Nether realm was a deep red, almost maroon. Mine, Emerald, was bright green. Snow was blurry white. Lava was a bright red. Iron was white with black stripes. Redstone was red and white checkers. Lapis was blue with green stripes. Gold was, gold. Duh. Coal was pitch black. Once, I saw my mother's intercom flash blue with yellow stripes, but there's no kingdom, realm, or palace with that code... Maybe it was the Lightning Kingdom, like in the legends... Nah, it was probably Lapis but maybe it has changed since.
"Sheesh, I think I'll have to help too." Cynthia ran out of the bunker. My intercom flashed purple too, and so did Dan's. Outside of the bunker, Vanessa was aiming her ender-crossbow at the assailant, teleporting away and back to avoid shots. She stood ahead of her army, but the endermen weren't attacking. Wary, I took a spot beside an enderman general, Dan beside me.
"Vanessa. Give up, I know its you."
"I'm not one to give up easily."
"So be it." Hundreds of flaming arrows appeared in the sky.
"My turf, my rules." The arrows dropped down, and raised again; pointed at the attackers. The arrows went flying back to the archers. I passed a series of short flashes to Winter back at the bunker. One long one followed by two short light blue flashes responded not long after. Suddenly, the intercom came to life.
"Help, static warriors static threat static help static urgent static Dan static to static hold static quick!" Dan heard his name, and ran quickly back to the bunker. Vanessa let loose her arrow, and suddenly from behind, thousands of arrows followed hers. A loud -psychopathic-cackle came from another side. The assailant stepped forward and removed his -or her -hood.
"...Rochelle?" Vanessa unequipped her bow, but requipped it with a sword.
"Still requipping?" 'Rochelle' called out.
"Requip?" I asked the enderman general behind me.
"Requipping is when a magic user changes weapons. They are like the celestial spirits, stocked in a different dimension and called forth." (A/N Yes, I like the Fairytail manga. Btw, Lucy asked that when they were fighting Elsienwald (Lullaby(or Zerek(? not sure don't remember) from book 3) and Erigor's dark guild basically) and Erza was switching weapons quickly. In the manga, it was Happy (the flying cat) who answered. I'm quite the geek deal with it. Oh and Erza sent Natsu and Gray to chase Erigor) (WHAT THE HECK)
I took out my twin daggers and stood beside Vanessa.
"Well, I'm here to fight." I said. Vanessa turned.
"3 SC-tueri terga. Testudine munitum quod infiltrated. 2 SC, in standby. Claude ostia omnia et omnes ostia. Immo aperte et sine aquilonem orientem, occidentem et meridiem. Vae tibi, si non." She faced me. "Send the emergency code to the others." I nodded and quickly sent a series of quick repetitive flashes. They wouldn't stop until all the intercoms had found my signal and they were within a 2 feet radius. (Latin, or the endermen's language in this case)
Rochelle cackled. "Veo que has descubierto mis verdaderos motivos. Aún así, mi ejército aquí no está retirando cualquier momento como los que está en la parte posterior. El sellado de las entradas es de hecho una decisión inteligente. Veo a proteger uno, pero ¿y los demás? Como has dicho, su césped, sus reglas." (When Rochelle and Vanessa speak from now on, its Spanish) (Google translate ftw)
Vanessa scowled. "Pueden manejar ellos mismos. Protejo uno para proteger a los demás. Ni siquiera sabe lo she's- sin they're- capaz de hacer."
Rochelle growled and struck Vanessa with her sword. She deflected it and sent her reeling back in pain.
"¡¿Cómo te atreves?!"
"Puedo hacer lo que yo quiera." Rochelle growled and sent her fist flying at Vanessa's jaw but was quickly cut off by her reflexes.
"¿Recuerdas cuando éramos más jóvenes? Nunca me lo podía superar, y no tengo la intención de romper el récord ahora." Vanessa sent an uppercut to her face and hit flesh.
"Argh! Voy a romper aquí y ahora!" I hurled both of my daggers at her sides but they ricocheted onto the soft end dirt.
"Sciopero Luce, padrona di smeraldo!" I chanted a spell I knew, sending it at Rochelle. Vanessa smiled at me. (Spells are in Italian)
"C-cómo podría usted... Eso es brujería primera fila... que Die horrible bruja... Maestra de Emerald... Maldiciones sobre ti!" Rochelle shrieked. (That's Spanish too)
Vanessa started muttering a spell too. "...il male sia maledetto, dieci volte no mille. Vanquish scuro a nome mio, Maestra de Enders!" The spell cast a dome around her, growing and growing. Cries of vanquish could be heard. I had to close my eyes due to the light that radiated off the dome. When it cleared, all that was left was a slight breeze that blew, and a soulless land that stood before us, stretching out to the void and beyond. No trace of battle remained. Vanessa stared blankly into that space, her auburn hair being blown by the wind. (That's a spell so Italian)
"Te echaré de menos, y la próxima vez, no vacilaré." She whispered. Little droplets- tears- trickled down her cheek but they quickly disappeared. 'My turf, my rules' Her words remained etched in my mind. Was she stronger than I thought? Perhaps there was something far more sinster. They looked sad, and spoke like they knew each other for long. The rest of the Council ran up to us. (Spanish)
"Your safe! We're too, Cynthia teleported us to the Nether before everything!" Winter hugged me. I was surprised at first, but hugged her back. I guess the space my mother once occupied has found itself another thing to fill it in...

PS: I used Google Translate for the translations so don't blame me if its a bit finicky.
