You're Really Here!

I saw a weird lump in my bed. I walked up to it and grabbed my covers. I pulled the covers down...
Tears streamed down my reddened face. I backed away with my hands covering my mouth and my eyes on the person.
The person woke up and a smile that I use to see all the time was there. That same smile that always made me angry and also happy....

"I-Ik-Ikuto!?!"

"Yo"

He got up and stood there with that smirk on his face. Yoru popped out from behind and went straight to Ran and the others.

Without thought I ran up to Ikuto and jumped into his arms crying like a little baby.

"You're back! I can't believe you're here!" I cried.

"Well I did tell you I would come back when you're older, didn't I? And also I expected you to be grouchy and throw me out" he said.

"As if! What, you don't take my feelings seriously?! You still are a dumby"

Ikuto laughed as he patted my head.

"I have a feeling something happened between you and Tadase" Ikuto said in his regular deep voice.

I looked away from him.

"He dumped his girlfriend who cared so much about him.. He came to me saying he wants me back cause he thinks he is losing me... But I declined his offer and told him to go back to her" I explained in a soft tone.

"Amu? Do I hear a boy in your room!?" My father shouted from downstairs. I could here him storming up to my room.

"Crap hide!" I panicked. I opened my glass door and pushed Ikuto outside.
"Stay there and be quiet!" I said.
I pulled the curtains together and sat quickly on my bed reading a book.

My father stormed in and checked all the places that seemed perfect to hide someone.

"Dad what are you doing?"

He looked at me and laughed.
"Heh sorry sweetie. Just got a lil over protected.."

"It's fine. I understand" I laughed hesitantly.

My dad then left my room. Quickly I ran to the glass door and pulled Ikuto back in.

"Sorry.." I mumbled.

"It's fine" he said.

"Still.." I began to say.
"It's just so weird that you're back"

*Doo da doo doo de*

.....

I pulled my phone out to see who was calling me.

"Tadase!?!"

Ikuto grabbed my phone and answered it. "Why hello" he said.

Ikuto put the phone on speaker.
"Tsukiyomi Ikuto!?" Tadase gasped.
"Why do you have Amu's phone!?"

Ikuto laughed.
"I'm currently at her house. I thought I should stop by since I was back in the neighborhood"

It got quiet after that.

"Amu are you there?" Tadase asked.

"Yes" I replied.

"Are you okay with this? Having him there with you?"

"I'm just being friendly. Don't think we're anything more"  I realized I turned back into my stubborn side.

Tadase breathed into the phone.
"I'll be waiting for you Amu. Waiting to get you back"

The call ended after that.

"Was he always like this?" Ikuto asked as he handed me back my phone.

"Not until recently.. Sometimes he would be super kind to me but then he just... He kissed me without my permission" I explained angrily.

"Hmph"

"What?" I asked.

"It's like I can never win. Oh well" he sighed.

I sat there confused.

......

As we stood in silence, a negative wave passed through me. I think Ikuto felt it too because he looked more alert.

"Hey guys... Did you feel that?" I asked.
They all nodded.
I turned to Ikuto and he nodded his head as well.

"I'll meet you downstairs" I told him as I ran to my door.

Ikuto darted out and I watched him jump off my small balcony.
I ran downstairs and Ran, Miki, Su, and Yoru followed me. I grabbed my bag where Dia was fast asleep in her egg and ran out.

I hope whatever it is, it won't be really bad.
