Hey! Welcome to How Not to LGBT! I'm not good with introductions, so I'll say this; If there's anything that I think needs to be censored, I will censor it. If you think something should be, comment saying you think it should, and I'll probably do something with it. There will be cussing that I won't censor. I'll also put warnings when there might be something triggering.

Entry One- First Day Of School

"Have a good day Lexi," my mom said from the car as I walked into my new school. It's the middle of spring, and I have four months until school ends. I cringed and mentally scowled at the nickname 'Lexi.' I really hate it, but no one in my family will let me choose what I want to be called. Other than that, they really don't give a shit about what I do or what happens to me. I guess I should be glad I have parents who shelter me and buy me clothes and food and everythin- nope. I'm just gonna stop there. I could barely write that honestly. I really would be fine staying at a friends place for the rest of eternity. That's what I was doing before I moved. Every night I stayed at my friend Hailey's house and my parents didn't care. Back to what happened earlier today; I was wearing grey jean shorts, black hightop converse, and a Fall Out Boy shirt. And a beanie, the most important part of my outfit. I walked into the school and to the principal's office. I got to the door with a sign that said 'Principal's office' and under it 'Mrs. Alberts.' and knocked on it. After I heard a "Come in," I walked in. "Hi. I'm Alex...andra Smith. I'm new," I said. Mrs. Albert's I guessed replied with, "Welcome to Broad River High School, Alexandra. I'm Mrs. Alberts." I nodded and said, "Most people call me Alex, so if you'd like to, you can." "Ok, I need to print out your schedule and everything and call down someone who can take you on a tour of the school. You can sit there." She pointed to a few chairs in the corner. I sat down and waited for whoever to come in. "Sam Wilson, come to the principal's office." A few minutes later, a guy came in. "Am I in trouble? I haven't done anything- I've been here for less than a hour," he said quickly. It tried really hard not to laugh, but I failed and quietly laughed. He noticed and said, "Oh. Am I here for a reason that includes them?" Mrs. Alberts nodded and said, "This is Alex, she's new and you are now giving her a tour of the school." Sam turned to me and said, "Hi. I'm Sam." I stood up and said, "Hi, I'm Alex." "Umm... I guess I should start showing you around." I grabbed my backpack and said, "Okay, lets go then."

"So, this is one of the science rooms. You don't have this class- you should be glad you don't- so I'm not gonna spend much time here." I nodded. As we were walking in the hallway, he said, "I see you like Blink-182. Unless you have no idea who they are and only have it because you like the design like some girls with Nirvana shirts I'm rambling sorry. Anyway do you like any other bands?" I laughed and said, "You can go to the music thing on my phone and look." "You like a lot of the same music I like," Sam said while handing me my phone back. I answered with, "Cool." He laughed and continued walking. When we got to the cafeteria he asked, "Do you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?" I nodded and he asked, "Can I see your schedule?" After he looked at it he said, "We have the same class before lunch. We're usually outside so I'll show you where we go." After that, we had a few minutes before we had to go to our next class, so we sat down and talked about anything and got to know each other better. After 5 minutes, Sam said he needed to get to his locker so he wouldn't have to go through a bunch of people. I said bye and walked in the direction of my history class.

---Time Skip *whoosh sound*---

I heard footsteps behind me and felt someone tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Sam. "Hello. Lunch is this way," he said, while pointing his arm to the door. I smiled and started walking to the door, stopping before I was out of the classroom so Sam could show me where the everliving fuck we were going. We walked outside and to a few benches that two girls were at. Sam walked over to them and said, "Jenna, Alice, this is Alex. Alex; Jenna and Alice." I waved and saw the two girls holding hands. I asked, "Are you two dating? Sorry if you're not and it's offensive." As I was talking, Jenna looked at me madder and madder by the second. Alice said, "Yeah, we are," before Jenna could say anything, but after she stopped talking Jenna said, "Do you have a problem with it? Because if you do, you can turn your ass around and leave." I stood there for a second, not knowing how to respond. I finally said, "No, I just saw you holding hands and being me, I got curious and asked." She stopped looking at me murderously, but I could tell she didn't trust me. When she looked at something on her phone, Alice mouthed 'Sorry' at me and I mouthed back, 'It's fine.' I wasn't hungry, so I sat down and played on my phone. After a while, we started asking each other questions. I found out that Jenna is a lesbian, Alice is pan, and Sam is trans. I also found out we like the same music and are in general a lot alike. After that, the bell rung and we had to go to our next class.

-words: 936-

Ok, I was going to get what I needed done then publish it, but I procrastinated and have two and a half chapters done. I'm aiming for at least 1,000 words a chapterish. I'm going to keep writing this after this month, (otherwise I'll keep thinking about it until I end up writing it again) The word count thing at the beginning of authors notes is so I know how many words I write in a chapter. Really thats it.
(Woo an update for June 26th even though now it's the 27th)
