"What do you mean you didn't get the shipment?!" The boss yelled as she slammed her fist on the desk. "We're sorry boss, but they got to it first." The two goons said as they cowered back a bit. "...you're sorry? Sorry is not gonna get us that five hundred dollar worth of booze!" The two men took a step back in fear. "You have one more chance before I have you two cleaned up." The two men nodded quickly, and exited the room as fast as they could. "Damn idiots..." She mumbled to herself as she pulled out a shot glass and a bottle of scotch. "I need some new men..." She took s drink as she heard s knock. "Come in." The door creaked open as a man stepped inside. "Um, hello ma'am. I was told to report to you." He said, his voice shaky. "Well I'm the boss, so I hope you're reporting to me. What do you want?" "Uh, Im the new rookie." His voice was still a little shaky, he seemed a little nervous."oh? Well then come in." She motioned for him to come as she stood and meet him half way. "So your name is...?" "Fasel." "Well then, you got a gun?" "No ma'am- I mean Boss! No Boss..." "Well go talk to rain. She'll hook you up with something." Fasel nodded and walked down the hall. As he went he passed by a woman, she looked like she had no business being here, her smile was bright, her cloths seemed high class, and her eyes seemed to be kind. She nodded and smiled at him as he walked down the hall. Later he arrived out back behind the hotel. "Hey kid...this ain't a place to just hang out...could be dangerous." A voice said. "He-hello?" Fasel replied. "...what are you doing here kid?" A dark figure came into view in the pitch black night of the ally way, the only light being the tip of the cigar, dimly illuminating her face. "I'm...I'm sorry?" "I said what are you doing back here? You looking for trouble?" The figure pulled out a switch blade and press the Rookie against the wall. "I-I-I'm looking for a girl named rain! She told me to find her for my supplies!" Everything was dead silent as a light flickered on above them. Rain pulled back her blade and smiled, like the confrontation never happened. "Well then, glad to have you aboard Rookie!" she said said as Fasel looked pale and scared. "Sorry if I startled ya, but we can't have the cops find out about our little operation." She said blunt as she put out her smoke, tossing it aside. "So, you need you're new supplies right? I've got this pistol for you, and a switch blade like mine." She handed the two items over, giving him a nod before sinking back into the darkness of the alleyway. "Thank you..." Fasel looked down at the weapons and pocketed them as he walked away.
