Chapter Twelve ~ Allison's P.O.V
Today was the day. This is the day that I would be flying all the way back to Ireland for the first time in three years. To say I was scarred was an understatement. I was absolutely terrified. Thank the fucking lord I had my mom, but most of all Demi with me. I didn't want to go back. I didn't want to relive all of the memories, I didn't want to see the people went to school with, I didn't want to go back to my mom's house. Thinking of it literally made me want to be sick.
We were leaving at six in the morning here, and would get there at about twelve in the morning there, with all of the time change and flight changes. My alarm started going off on my bed side table. It was 3:30 am. Demi and I still needed to get some things packed, and we wanted to be there for at least quarter to five. "Babe, get up." I yawned as I got out of bed. I put on an oversized hoodie since I was only wearing underwear to bed, and walked into my mom's room. "Mama, wake up! It's 3:30 our flight leaves in two and a half hours." I yelled sheepishly. She quickly responded with a thumbs up, and I flipped on her light. I walked back into my room to see Demi still in bed. "You're the one that's making me go, so get your lazy ass out of this bed, ad pack your shit." I said nudging her repeatedly. Finally she responded by mumbling some cuss words, and then punched my thigh. "DEMETRIA GET THE FUCK UP!" I yelled this time getting flustered. She shot up immediately, giving me a death glare and got off the bed.
"I was up you fucking idiot!" She yelled back. I guess we're both not morning people. I just rolled my eyes and got out one of my suit cases. I packed clothes for a week even though we would only be there for four days. I packed all of my toilet trees, put a few shoes in and closed it up. Then I packed my computer, charger, and phone charger in my back pack putting in a couple of Stephen King novels as well. I absolutely love reading. Demi was still packing her suit case by the time I finished. It was funny because she fly's places all the time. I mean I do as well for work, having hotels and resorts half way across the world, but she flies just as much.
I grabbed a pillow and a small blanket, putting the blanket in my carry-on back pack and but the pillow on my suit case. "You really need to hurry the fuck up, I'm already stressed out enough I don't want to be rushing for a flight I don't want to be on." I chuckled humorlessly at Demi. She just shot me a look and slammed the lid of her suit case down furiously zipping it up. I grabbed my phone and headphones slipping them in the pocket of the track pants I was wearing, and then carried my things down the stairs to the front hall. "DEMETRIA, CATHLEEN, LET'S GO!" I yelled up the stairs. I was afraid I'd wake Adam.
My mom came down the stairs with a smile, and Demi came down about a minute later with a scowl on her face towards me. I just rolled my eyes, grabbing my keys to my Land Rover and walked out the door. We all took the elevator down to the parking garage in silence. I think my mom sensed some tension between Demi and I, but she didn't bother to talk about it. I opened the trunk to my car, and put my suit case in along with my backpack, and got into the Driver's seat waiting for Demi and my mom to put their things in.
By the time we arrived to the airport and got through security, it was five. We had about an hour until we boarded our plane. Demi and I still weren't speaking. We all sat in the first class lounge; Demi literally had a blanket over her face so no one would see her. I took the time to get up, and go get everyone a coffee. I walked for a bit, finally finding the Star Bucks and ordered three coffees. I walked back to where my mom and Demi were sitting; they were talking about something now. I took my coffee out of the tray, then passed it to my mom. She and Demi took out there coffees and I went to go sit on the other side of the room.
"FLIGHT 17, NOW BOARDING FLIGHT 17!" A women's voice came through the speakers. That was our flight. I stood up walking to my mom and Demi who seemed to be clueless and directed them to the line we were supposed to get in for first class. My mom's ticket was booked before ours obviously, so we weren't sitting close to her. But Demi and I did have seats beside each other. Joy.
