Chapter 4 - Broken

- Yeonji's pov - (the next day morning)

"Yeonji, over here!" I saw Minyoo and the others waving at me.

I ran over and hugged each of them.

"I miss you guys so much!" I said.

"Us too!"

I looked around and saw everyone was here, except for Yoongi.

Isn't he gonna come?

"Where's yoongi?" I asked feeling really disappointed.

I haven't seen him after I came back, doesn't he miss me?

Or perhaps.. He doesn't miss me anymore?

Or worse.. He never missed me?

"Uh.. He's busy.." Jimin answered.

Busy?

"Busy? Waeyo?" I asked.

"Um.." He never gave me an answer.

"He's on a trip!" Jungkook said.

"Where..?"

"Uh.." He can't give me an answer either.

I looked at the others, they all weren't looking at me, instead, they were rather ignoring me and avoiding eye-contact.

"Quit lying, where is he?" I said worriedly.

"We will bring you to him." Namjoon said and the others just looked at him.

I went on the car.

"Ji-ah, do you miss yoongi hyung?" Tae asked me.

"Of course, I-" he cut me off.

"Arasso.."

"Where are we going?" I asked Jin who was driving.

"You'll know.." He slightly smiled.

- after 15 minutes -

"We're here." Jin announced and everyone paid attention.

I looked out the window.

"Why are we at a hospital?" I asked the others.

No one responded.

"Guys?! Why are we at a hospital? Where is Yoongi?!" I shouted.

"Yeonji, calm down okay? He's here, you'll see him soon." Jin said patting my back.

Why is Yoongi in a hospital?

What are they keeping from me?

We walked in the hospital, every step was so heavy.

It was so hard.

I just walked out from a hospital and yoongi is a hospital.

We stopped infront of room 278.

"You can go in." Jin said giving me a reassuring smile.

I gave a knock and opened the door slightly, peeking inside.

I saw someone sleeping on the hospital bed, I opened the door fully and walked inside while the others follow in the back.

I looked closely and I saw Yoongi laying down on the hospital unconsciously.

Tears were boiling in my eyes and I let a drop out.

"What is this?" I turned and look and them who was now staring at me.

Taehyung walked up to me and pulled me into a hug.

"He's in a coma for 1 year plus now.." He said in my ears.

I pushed him away as I sobbed.

"Aniya, you're just kidding, right?!" I said and walked closer to the bed.

His eyes were dead shut.

I felt my heart ache as I shook him, "yah! Min Yoongi! What are you doing?! Wake up!" I shouted and shook him harder.

"It was an accident.. I hope you understand." Jin gave a pat on my back.

I just shook my head and wiped my tears off my cheeks.

"Yah! You said you'll wait for me no matter what! I kept my promise, I came back! What about you?! Why are you lying down so peacefully while I'm suffering! You liar!" I broke down and cried.

"He misses you a lot, we are certain about that.." Namjoon said while kneeling down.

Minyoo came closer and hugged me.

"It hurts seeing you like this Yeonji-ah."

"Can someone tell me what actually happened?" I weakly asked.

Jimin nodded and started to say the story,

They went on a car-trip to Namsan tower, along the way, they got into an accident. A big Lorry slammed into them mostly at the left front seat which was the seat yoongi was sitting at. He was knocked unconscious and was sent into the hospital immediately with the others, they were all hurt here and there but yoongi got knocked on his head so he fainted and was in a coma after.

Another stream of tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Will he... Wake up?" I asked, too scared to hear the answer.

"The doctor said it was a 70% that he would wake up, but now it's just 40%.. Even if he wakes up, he couldn't ensure that he'll be the same.."

"Is there no other ways but to wait?"

"Currently.. Yes." Jin answered and I nodded.

I'll wait for you to wake up.

I will.
